    NDA Vacancy 2026 - The UPSC conducts the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (NDA & NA) exam. The UPSC will release the NDA 2 2026 Vacancy in the official Notification. A total of 394 NDA vacancies have been announced by the commission. Candidates who wish to attempt the NDA exam must go through the notification to know about the NDA vacancies across academies. The NDA 2026 is conducted twice annually with the purpose of recruiting candidates for the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA and Naval Academy courses.

    For NDA 2 2026, the UPSC will release the NDA exam vacancy details in the official notification. The UPSC will also release the NDA 2 application form 2026 along with the official notification.     What is the NDA exam?

    The NDA is one of India's most popular and competitive defence exams. The UPSC conducts the exam to fill in various NDA 2026 vacancies, for admission of eligible aspirants into the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Air Force wings as well as an Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). UPSC NDA is conducted twice a year in two stages: written exam and SSB Interview, and the NDA vacancies are released in the official notification. Candidates who qualify in the written test are eligible to appear in the SSB (Services Selection Board) and Medical Test, shortlisted candidates are then recruited as per the NDA vacancies.

    NDA Salary 2026

    The NDA 2026 salary is given to candidates who qualify in the exam and get recruited in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, or Indian Air Force as per their merit. The NDA salary consists of the detailed salary, pay scale, allowances, perks, in-hand salary. NDA salary ranges from Rs. 56,100- Rs. 1,77,500. Candidates, for the first 4 years, are selected for the course, during which they are given stipend as Rs. 15,600.

    No, it is not compulsory to take both NDA 1 and NDA 2. They are two independent exams conducted twice a year by the UPSC. You can appear for either one of them or both to maximize your chances of selection.

    However, if the NDA application form still shows the old, incorrect surname , it likely means the NDA application was submitted before the correction

    You have to just fill date of birth (DD/MM/YY), and you will get your exact age. If you are between the ages of 16 years 6 months to 19 years 6 months, you are eligible for the NDA Exam.
