Learn shortcuts of odd days to save time.
Learn all three types of problems asked under the calendar.
Practice all the previous year questions related to the calendar.
Solving Reasoning Ability questions on the calendar is totally based on the number of odd days which we get as a remainder after converting all the days into weeks. Let’s us understand the concept of odd days by taking an example:-
- Let’s assume that we have to calculate the odd day in a month which has 31 days.
- To calculate the odd days we will convert the days into weeks by dividing the days
- 31/7, here the remainder would be 3. Thus odd day in this month will be 3.
A chart which shows odd days of every month in a year is as follows:-
Month | Odd Days |
January | 3 |
February | 0/1* |
March | 3 |
April | 2 |
May | 3 |
June | 2 |
July | 3 |
August | 3 |
September | 2 |
October | 3 |
November | 2 |
December | 3 |
*Note:- odd days in February depends upon the year,
if a year is not a leap year,l then odd days would be zero
If a year is a leap year then the number of odd days would be 1.
