No, candidates with a diploma cannot apply for RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) under the undergraduate category.

The eligibility criteria for undergraduate posts in RRB NTPC, such as Junior Clerk, Accounts Clerk, and Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, require candidates to have completed their 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board.

A diploma is considered a higher qualification, and hence, diploma holders are not eligible for these undergraduate posts. However, diploma holders may be eligible for RRB NTPC graduate-level posts, provided they meet the specific eligibility requirements for those positions.

I am belongs to Bc-E category. This is applicable for OBC , In this category I am eligible for only State or total national India . please clear my doubt about this categories. ex : In RRB NTPC NOTIFICATION i am eligible for which category due to Bc-E community????

In places like Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the BC-E category is usually used to refer to specific backward classes, especially among Muslim groups.

For reservations in employment and education, this group is often recognised at the state level.Reservation benefits are available solely to OBC categories recognised by the Central Government for national-level tests such as RRB NTPC (Railway Recruitment Board). If the group is not on the Central OBC list, the BC-E category may not be accepted as OBC on a nationwide scale.

Verify if your community is included on the Central OBC list in order to verify your eligibility. This is available on the website of the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC).BC-E is often valid for reservations within your state for state-level exams.It's crucial to confirm whether your particular subcategory is included in the Central OBC category for reservation purposes before taking national-level exams.

OEC is a Category stands for Other Eligible Communities is not included in center list so the exam which is conducted on national level dont give reservation to this category students And this is seen in the State of Kerala. However These are the Communities that have been recommended to be added to the State SC and ST list. That is why they are Categorised into OEC (SC) and OEC (ST).

Hello Aspirant,

Your candidature is more likely to get cancelled. They will ask for an OBC certificate failing to submit it will eventually cancel your candidature for this exam. Moreover, the cut off for different categories is different and as your entered OBC as your category, you cleared the exam and the cut off for the general category must have been higher than that. It is also not fair to other students as well. These railway and other government exams are very strict in their conduct and will not accept any discrepancy or error. The RRB NTPC exam is administered on the national level by the Railway Recruitment Board to provide jobs as personnel for graduate and undergraduate posts under Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) in several zonal railways and production units of Indian Railways. To pass the RRB NTPC exam, aspirants need to go through different stages of the RRB NTPC recruitment process. The various phases of the RRB NTPC recruitment process are - CBT 1, CBT 2, Typing(Skill Test), Document verification and medical examination. The RRB NTPC exam has been administered for several NTPC posts.
