Candidates must meet the RRB NTPC eligibility criteria to apply for the exam. The eligibility criteria include nationality, age, and educational qualification.
RRB NTPC Nationality:
An Indian citizen
A subject of Nepal or Tibetan or Bhutan Refugee who came over to India before January 01, 1962 to permanently settle in the country.
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, East African countries such as Tanzania United States (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zaire, Ethiopia, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, and Vietnam are permanent residents of India.
RRB NTPC Age Limit:
Candidates who are applying for Undergraduate posts must be between 18 to 30 years of age.
Applicants who are applying for Graduate posts must be between 18 to 33 years of age.

For Under Graduate Posts: Applicants must have minimum educational qualification of 12th or its equivalent examination.
For Graduate Posts: Candidates must have a minimum educational qualification of a Degree from recognised university or its equivalent.
RRB NTPC Notification 2024 - Application form
The RRB NTPC application correction window was closed on November 6, 2024 on the official regional websites. The RRB NTPC 2024 application form correction facility was opened on October 30, 2024. The RRB NTPC application form 2024 was closed for undergraduate posts on October 27, 2024 . RRB activated the RRB NTPC application correction window on October 23 , 2024 for graduate posts. Candidates were able to make changes in their RRB NTPC application form until October 30, 2024. The last date to submit the RRB NTPC application form for graduate post was October 20, 2024.
The RRB NTPC 2024 application form was released in online mode on September 14, 2024 for graduate posts and September 21, 2024 for undergraduate posts by the Railway Recruitment Board. No its not okay to upload BC certificate instead of OBC certificate as rrb NTPC clearly defines the rules of obc certificate which states that the certificate must be issued by an authorized authority, such as a District Magistrate, Collector, Deputy Commissioner, or Revenue Officer and it must be under non creamy layer.
You should obtain certificate of obc non creamy layer then apply to rrb NTPC to avail the benefit of reservation quota.
Moreover,the difference between certificate is that Other Backward Classes certificate is issued to communities listed as OBC by the Indian government and BC are only recognised by government of india which is not accepted by many exa
