USET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• There is no upper age limit for USET 2024
• Candidates must have a post graduate degree/diploma/certificate by Indian University/Institute or Foreign degree/diploma/certificate awarded by any Foreign University/Institute ascertain the equivalence of their diploma/degree/certificate with Master's degree of recognized Indian Universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
• Applicants must have secured at least 55% marks in Master’s degree or equivalent from recognised universities/institutions by UGC and State Government are eligible for this test. Marks relaxation for OBC/SC/ST/PwD categories is 5% i.e. 50%.
• Ph.D degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991 shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks for appearing in USET 2024
• Candidates must ensure that they produce certificates as per their eligibility for the category applied.
• Candidates have to appear for USET in the subject of their Master Degree only.

USET 2024 Application Form

Before applying Online, the candidates must possess the scanned images as below:-

• Passport size photograph in JPG format of minimum 4kb to 40 kb. 
• The dimension of the photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
• Signature in JPG format of minimum 4kb to 30 kb. 
• The dimension of the signature should be 3.5 cm (width) x 1.5 cm (height).

How to USET Application Form 2024?

• The application form of USET 2024 will be available in online mode only.
• Candidates must enter their personal details such as communication address, contact details (email ID and mobile number), educational and other information.
• The Examination fee can be paid online (Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card) or by Cash through Challan at any Branch of State Bank of India (SBI). The candidate must keep the print out of the application form and candidate’s copy of Challan/ fee receipt with them.
• General Category -  Rs 1400 (excluding Bank Charges, if any)
• OBC(Non- creamy layer) /SC /ST /PWD (persons with disability) - Rs 840 (excluding Bank Charges, if any)
• Candidates who are not domicile of Uttarakhand State have to pay Rs 1400 as fee irrespective of their Category (SC/ST/PH/VH/OBC/General)
• Candidates can make the payment of the USET application fee online of through a challan.
• The candidates need not attach any document in the online application. However, they are advised to keep a printout on separate A4 size papers of their online Application form.
• After filling up all the details for online application for USET 2024, and confirming the correctness of the same, the System will generate a unique Registration Number and Password, which would be communicated to the candidate via SMS and email address provided by them at the time of fee payment.

• Register on the website.
• Fill out the USET 2024 application form: Fill out each section carefully and accurately.
• Upload documents.
• Pay the USET 2024 application fee using the online payment gateway or challan.
• Review and submit the application form.
• Keep a copy of the completed USET application form 2024 and fee payment receipt for your records.

USET Paper I shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. The first fifty questions attempted by the candidate would be evaluated.

USET Exam Pattern 

USET Paper II shall consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks

USET Admit Card 2024

The admit card of USET 2024 will be available in online mode. No hard copy of the USET 2024 admit card will be given to the candidates by the conducting body. The candidates can download the USET admit card by entering their login credentials. No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination centre other than the one allotted to them in the USET admit card 2024. Check the steps to download USET 2024 admit card given below -

How to download USET Admit Card 2024?

Visit the official website i.e. usetonline.com or kunainital.ac.in. (link will be provided as soon as university releases the admit card)

• Click on the link of the admit card for the concerned post

• Enter details such as name, fathers name and date of birth and click on ‘Submit’ button

• USET 2024 admit card will be displayed on the screen.

• Check the details and take a printout of the admit card for the future reference

The admit card of USET 2024 will mention the following details :

• Name of the Candidate

• Category

• Examination Time and Date

• Examination Centre Name and Address

• Photograph and Signature

• Important Instructions for the Candidates

USET Answer key 2024

Kumaun University will publish the answer key of USET 2024 in online mode. The answer key will be available in the form of a PDF for the two papers – I and II. Candidates can download the answer key of USET and match the correct answer to the questions asked in the examination. Through USET answer key 2024 candidates can also calculate probable scores to be obtained in the Uttarakhand SET exam.

USET Result 2024

The result of USET 2024 will be released by Kumaun University in online mode. The result will have the list of marks of all the candidates. The authority will issue a certificate to qualifying candidates. Candidates must note that only top 6% of the appearing candidates who appear in all two papers and secure at least 40% aggregate marks for General category and at least 35% aggregate marks for reserved categories will be declared qualified for the role of Assistant Professor. The criteria of result declaration will be final and binding for all candidates.
