UPSC CMS Marking Scheme

Students can calculate their marks with the help of the CMS answer key. To calculate the scores and predict the expected UPSC CMS cut-off, candidates need to understand the marking scheme.

  • In paper I, there will be 120 questions carrying 250 marks

  • In paper 2, there will be 12 questions divided into 3 parts carrying 250 marks.

  • For each wrong answer, 0.33 marks will be deducted.

UPSC After BHMS

Surely one can opt for UPSC that is civil service examinations after BHMS to pursue career in civil services.

The eligibility age may vary as per reservation criterion ranges from 32 years to 37 years. ( Detail chart is available on official website)

The syllabus remains same for all in preliminary examination while special subjects pertaining to Homoeopathy are supposed to be included in mains.

After homeopathy one can peruse UPSC and can serve in various administration departments depending upon the merit secured. If specific examination opted for particular post then it would be case dependant.

The eligibility criteria to apply for UPSC Combined Medical Service Examination is that a candidate must have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination. Candidates who are appearing in final year examination are also eligible to apply provisionally. A candidate who has yet to complete the compulsory rotating internship is educationally eligible for admission to the examination but on selection he/she will be appointed only after he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship.

Considering the given criteria you are not eligible to apply for UPSC CMS as you haven't studied MBBS.
