UGC NET Exam Centres 2018 – Central Board of Secondary Education has released the list of UGC NET exam centres 2018. CBSE UGC NET 2018 is being held on July 8 across the country, in 91 UGC NET 2018 exam cities, in 36 states and UTs. The exam centres of UGC NET 2018 include the list of states and cities with city codes where the test is being conducted. Candidates were required to select 4 exam centres of UGC NET 2018 in order of their preference (where they want to take the test) while filling the application form. The candidates are allotted UGC NET exam centres 2018 based on the order in which the exam centre choices have been made and as per the availability of any centre.

UGC NET 2018 Exam Centres – Important Instructions
The candidates are advised to visit their exam centres just a day or two prior to the UGC NET 2018 exam to avoid any confusion on the day of examination.
Candidates must carry their UGC NET 2018 admit card and a photo ID to their exam centers. No Candidate will be permitted inside the examination hall without the admit card and a photo ID.
The exam is held in two sessions.
Candidates need to carry two passport size photographs for both the sessions.
Entry to the examination hall for Paper-I began at 7 am.
Time of entry in the examination hall for Paper-II was 10.45 am.
Candidates are advised not to carry things like mobile phones, other gadgets, study material, chits, etc. Possession of things like these can lead to the cancellation of their candidature.
Exam Pattern of UGC NET 2018
As per the exam pattern of UGC NET 2018 specified in the official notification, there are only two papers for the exam. Both the papers are being conducted in offline mode. Candidates are given an OMR sheet to mark their answers. The question papers are bilingual. Paper-I is designed to test the candidate on his/her teaching ability and research skills. One hour is given to attempt Paper-I. It has 50 questions of two marks each making a total of 100 marks. The time duration for Paper-II is two hours. Paper-II has 100 questions based on the subjects that the candidates choose. Each question carries 2 marks. Total marks for this paper are 200.

Ans. In case this happens, candidates will be allotted exam centres in cities they've filled in the application form as second, third and fourth choices.

Ans. In UP, UGC NET 2018 is being held in various exam centres in 9 cities (Agra, Aligarh, Allahabad, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Varanasi).
Ques. Is it mandatory to fill the exam centre choices while filling the application form of UGC NET?
Ans. Yes, candidates are required to fill 4 exam centre choices while filling the UGC NET application form or else they will be allotted any exam centre by the examination authority in the nearest city, which may be difficult for the candidates to reach.
