In This section of SBI PO exam analysis by Bankers Adda 2019, we will understand the exam pattern of prelims exam 2018. SBI first time introduced the sectional timing of 20 minutes, for SBI PO prelims paper. SBI PO prelim 2018 exam comprises three sections, first being Reasoning ability, English language and Quantitative Aptitude. This section packed in a punch for all the aspirants who appeared in this examination. There were many new types of questions. Two reading comprehensions were there in the English Language section among which one passage was of the conventional type, it was based on the theme of an economist's view of differences between innovation and invention. 2-3 questions were based on vocab few questions were based on identifying grammatically correct phrases, considered as phrase replacement.
A new pattern of cloze test was introduced where a passage was given with 5 blanks and a phrase had to be filled in those blanks. In questions of that cloze test, a phrase was given and candidate had to identify that the given phrase will belong to which blank 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5

Antonym and Synonym
The level of reasoning was difficult. There were NO questions of computer aptitude. Following were the questions of puzzles and seating arrangement:
Linear Double Line, 10 people seating
Floors+Buildings based puzzle
Blood Relation+Age based puzzle
Random Arrangement -3 Variables, Names of persons, their posts and fruits were given
Linear Seating Arrangement- 3 Variable, the direction in which the persons were seated was not mentioned.

This section had 40 questions and the level of the questions asked was moderate. Most of the questions in this section were covering the current affairs and news of June and July Months. As per the Bankers Adda analysis given for this section of SBI PO Mains exam, there were few or no questions from static and banking awareness.
Descriptive Test plays an important role in a candidate’s selection. As per SBI PO exam analysis by Bankers Adda,weightage of this section is of 50 marks with a time limit of 30 minutes and bankers Adda considered it Moderate-Lengthy for the students.

You are eligible for SBI PO exams only if you clear your subjects as there should not be any backlogs and you should complete them during your graduation if you want to apply for these exams . You need to have a degree to apply . However 4th year students are eligible to apply for SBI PO exams .

Rama, for being eligible for SBI PO, you need to be between 21 to 30 years . There is an age relaxation for Reserved Categories. If you are 20 years, you should turn 21 at least by April 1st, 2020. If you do not turn 21 by 1st April 2020, you might not be eligible for SBI PO.
But for IBPS PO, the minimum age limit is 20 years and so you qualify for appearing for IBPS exam. Regarding you studying our Final year graduation, Graduates with a Bachelor's degree in any discipline are eligible for both SBI PO and IBPS PO. And those who are appearing for their final year exams are also eligible. But their recruitment is subjective to fulfillment of the eligibility criteria required.
In short, you have to wait for SBI PO until next year but can appear for IBPS PO this year.
