RRB Bilaspur ALP Result 2018 - Railway Recruitment Board, Bilaspur has released RRB Bilaspur ALP 2018 result for CBAT on June 4, 2019. RRB Bilaspur result is available in pdf format along with the roll number of qualified candidates. Candidates can also check the marks obtained in the exam by entering user ID and date of birth. Based on RRB Bilaspur ALP result 2018 for CBAT, candidates are shortlisted to appear for Document Verification (DV). The revised result of RRB ALP 2018 for CBT 2 on April 27, 2019. The Boards had announced the result for second stage CBT on April 6, 2019. However, due to discrepancies in the final answer key, the Boards has cancelled the same. A total of 2398 vacancies have been announced by the Board.
Candidates who will be declared qualified in DV will eligible for the final recruitment to the posts they applied for. RRB, Bilaspur will also release the final RRB Bilaspur ALP 2018.

The first stage exam was a screening test and marks obtained in the exam was not be considered during the preparation of final merit list. On the basis of marks secured in RRB Bilaspur ALP 2018 first stage, candidates was be shortlisted for the second stage exam. RRB Bilaspur has prescribed minimum qualifying cut off for first stage CBT. The qualifying marks of first stage exam are as follows.
RRB conducts second stage CBT in two parts – Part A and B. As Part B is qualifying in nature, marks secured in Part A are calculated to shortlist candidates for the subsequent stage of selection process. However, candidates have to qualify Part B of the exam stage. While preparing the final merit list, marks obtained in Part A are considered. The Board has determined the qualifying cut off for both parts of the second stage exam. The minimum qualifying marks for both parts of the second stage are provided below.
Candidates appearing for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) post are called for Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT). The basis on marks secured in Part A of second stage CBT, candidates 8 times the number of ALP vacancies are selected to appear for CBAT. The test consist of five test batteries and candidates must secure minimum 42 marks in each battery to qualify the exam stage. Candidates qualifying CBAT have been shortlisted for Document Verification.
The final RRB ALP 2018 result is declared by RRB Bilaspur after Document Verification has been conducted. For Technician posts, the result is announced on the basis of mark secured in RRB ALP Part A while the final result of ALP candidates will be calculated based on marks obtained in Part A of RRB ALP second stage and CBAT. However, to be considered for recruitment to the selected post, candidates will have to qualify Part B of second stage CBT. RRB Bilaspur will prepare the merit list by providing 70% weightage of marks to Part A of second stage exam while 30% weightage will be allotted to CBAT.
The merit position of candidates securing the equal number of marks in particular exam stages will be determined on the basis of age. Therefore, candidates older in age will be placed higher in the merit list while younger candidates will be placed on a lower rank. The tie-breaking procedure will be put into use during Document Verification.
The cutoff of RRB Bilaspur ALP 2018 is prepared by Railway Recruitment Board, Bilaspur and it is also be released along with the revised result. Candidates have been selected for each exam stage based on the cut off of previous exam stage. Factors including the number of candidates, total vacancies, difficulty level of exam determine the cut off of RRB ALP 2018. RRB Bilaspur releases separate cut off for all stages of the exam. Candidates securing cutoff in Second Round Part A and Computer-Based Aptitude Test (AT) is called for document verification. The total number of candidates selected for document verification is equal to the number of vacancies available for the posts. After the conduct of Document Verification, RRB Bilaspur releases the final merit list.
