    The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER) prescribes the REET 2026 age limit. Candidates from any age segment who fulfils the eligibility criteria can apply for the exam. There is no defined age limit for the REET examination.

    REET 2026 Educational Qualification for Level 1 & 2

    BSER, Ajmer prescribes the academic qualification which needs to be followed in order to fill the application form. From the following tables, candidates can check the academic qualification which is strictly needed to be followed for both Level I & Level II examinations are mentioned below -

    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).

    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulation, 2002.

    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passing or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

    • Graduation and passing or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education

    REET Eligibility for Level 2 (Classes VI to VIII)

    • Graduation and passing or appearing in the final of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education

    • Graduation with minimum 50% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

    • Graduation with minimum 45% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure).

    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passing or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc.Ed.

    • Graduation with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

    Apart from the age limit and academic qualification, the REET 2026 eligibility criteria also consist of nationality. As per the required nationality, aspirants must be Indian citizens. Any foreign candidates or persons having the nationality of other countries are not eligible for REET recruitment.
