The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER) prescribes the REET 2024 age limit as per which any candidate from any age segment who fulfils the eligibility criteria can apply for the exam. There is no defined age limit for the REET examination.

REET 2024 Educational Qualification for Level 1 & 2

BSER, Ajmer prescribes the academic qualification which needs to be followed in order to fill the application form. From the following tables, candidates can check the academic qualification which is strictly needed to be followed for both Level I & Level II examinations are mentioned below -

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulation, 2002.

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passing or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

  • Graduation and passing or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education

REET Eligibility for Level 2 (Classes VI to VIII)

  • Graduation and passing or appearing in the final of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education

  • Graduation with minimum 50% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

  • Graduation with minimum 45% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure).

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passing or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc.Ed.

  • Graduation with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Apart from the age limit and academic qualification, the REET 2024 eligibility criteria also consist of nationality. As per the required nationality, aspirants must be Indian citizens. Any foreign candidates or persons having the nationality of other countries are not eligible for REET recruitment.

BSER, Ajmer will release the REET 2024 application form in online mode in October/November, 2024 on the official website. For D.EL.ED course age limits vary from one state from another state board. however the minimum age for this course is 18 years and maximum age limit is 35 and the candidate should have passed 12th with any stream/graduation/post graduation from a recognized institution with at least 50% secured marks.

Yes, it is possible . As per your question, Graduation must me completed or you must be in final year diploma of elementary education. This is the eligibility criteria for REET exam. 50% marks is needed. This year the application last date has got over. The Board recruits teachers every year.
