BSER conducts the REET 2024 to determine the eligibility of candidates looking to become primary or secondary teachers in state-run schools in Rajasthan. Candidates who wish to apply to the same must ensure that they fulfil the REET eligibility criteria 2024. The REET 2024 eligibility criteria are prescribed based on nationality, age, and educational qualification.

The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER) prescribed the REET 2024 age limit as per which any candidate from any age segment who fulfils the eligibility criteria can apply for the exam. There is no defined age limit for the REET examination.
REET 2024 Educational Qualification for Level 1 & 2

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulation, 2002.
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passing or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Graduation and passing or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education

Graduation with minimum 50% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

Apart from the age limit and academic qualification, the REET 2024 eligibility criteria also consist of nationality. As per the required nationality, aspirants must be Indian citizens. Any foreign candidates or persons having the nationality of other countries are not eligible for REET recruitment.

BSER, Ajmer has activated the REET 2025 application form correction window on January 17, 2025 at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in/reet2024.co.in. The REET application form 2025 correction window will be available till January 19, 2025 (12 AM). The REET 2024 application form was released in online mode on December 16, 2024 on the official website. The last date to submit the REET application form was January 15, 2025. Aspirants who meet the minimum eligibility criteria of REET 2024 are eligible to fill the form, and the candidature of those who don't meet the eligibility criteria would be rejected at a later stage. The REET application form has to be filled in online mode by entering the personal information of the candidates along with uploading documents and paying the application fee in online mode.
There is no maximum age limit for REET.
The qualifications depend upon the level 1 or 2 for which candidates are planning to apply. The minimum academic qualification required is Senior Secondary with a minimum 50%.

Yes, you can apply for final selection from OBC category and as a sportsperson as well as these are considered separate reservation categories, allowing for what is called "horizontal reservation" which applies across the vertical reservation categories like OBC, SC, and ST; meaning you can claim your OBC reservation and also benefit from the sportsperson quota if you qualify for both.
Other Backward Classes (OBC) is a collective term used by the Government of India to classify castes. It is a part of the general category. The castes that come under OBC are backward in terms of poverty and education.
SC/ST/OBC candidates who fulfill the required educational qualification can also apply against unreserved vacancies.
