The eligibility criteria for REET 2025 are as follows:
- Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and should have either completed or be appearing for a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any name).
- Candidates who have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and have completed a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any name) are also eligible, as per the NCTE (Recognition, Norms, and Procedure) Regulation, 2002.
- Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and should have either completed or be appearing for a two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

For D.EL.ED course age limits vary from one state from another state board. however the minimum age for this course is 18 years and maximum age limit is 35 and the candidate should have passed 12th with any stream/graduation/post graduation from a recognized institution with at least 50% secured marks.

And yes for REET exam Candidate having D.EL.ED certificate or degree with minimum 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education ( D.El.Ed ) is valid for Level 1, which is for Class 1 to 5th student.
