The UPSSSC PET 2022 selection process for Group C posts in different departments of the UP government starts with the preliminary eligibility test notification which is released on official UPSSSC website - upsssc.gov.in. Exam Pattern for UPSSSC PET Selection Criteria 2022
The UPSSSC preliminary eligibility test (PET) will be the first stage of the UPSSSC selection process 2022. The prelims test will be based most probably on the previous UPSSSC PET exam pattern in offline mode. The PET exam is qualifying in nature to appear in the UPSSSC mains exams for different posts announced in the notification. The UPSSSC PET selection is based on the marks a candidate achieves out of 100 marks from 100 questions given in the exam paper.
The nature of question paper is objective type with MCQs. Each question carries one mark with negative marking i.e. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer from the total score. The duration of the PET exam will be 2 hours i.e. 120 minutes. The questions in the prelims will be from 15 subjects as given in the UPSSSC PET syllabus.

The syllabus of the prelims exam is the most important part of the UPSSSC selection process 2022 to recruit for different UPSSSC vacancies by 2022. All those who qualify in the UPSSSC PET exam declared to have eligibility to sit in the second stage of UPSSSC 2022 selection process i.e. the mains exam. The candidates who choose different posts of Group C for example Rajaswa Lekhpal have to fill up the application form for the mains exam of UPSSSC selection process 2022. For this the recruitment Commission releases notification for candidates who are selected in the Prelims.
