What If WB SET 2023 Password is Forgotten?

WB SET 2023 Result - Procedure and Criteria

An aspirant must have appear in both papers to be considered WB SET 2023 eligible. The exam authority has defined some criteria for aspirants. The phases of the eligibility requirements are as follows:

Step 1: Only 6% of those who applied will be considered eligible.

Step 2: The total number of slots to be assigned to various groups will be determined by the West Bengal Government's reservation policy.

Step 3: Unreserved candidates must obtain at least 40% aggregate marks in both WB SET articles, while reserved candidates must obtain at least 35%.

Step 4: The method applied to be declared WB SET qualified in any subject -

No. of qualified candidates in a category x Slots available for that category ÷ Total no of WB SET qualified candidates from that category over all subjects

WB SET Marking Scheme 2023

The WB SET 2023 consists of two papers, Paper I and Paper II. Both papers are mandatory and are held in two separate sessions in offline mode. There are 150 objective style questions in total, each worth two points. In the WB SET, no negative marks are deducted for any incorrectly marked response.

WB SET Cut-off 2023

The WB SET cutoff 2023 is determined by the number of candidates who apply for a specific subject and the difficulty level associated with it. The exam conducting authority publishes the category-wise cut offs for each issue. Candidates who obtain a sufficient number of points above the WB SET 2023 cut-off are considered eligible. It should be noted that unreserved candidates must obtain a minimum of 40% on the WB SET. Reserved applicants, on the other hand, must obtain at least 35% of the total marks to be considered WB SET eligible.
