UP PCS 2019 - Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the application form of UP PCS 2019 along with the notification on October 16, 2019. Candidates can fill the application form till November 13, 2019. However, the online fee can be paid till November 11 only. Candidate who holds graduation degree in respective field as per the post and are between 21 to 40 years of age as on July 1, 2019 can apply for UP PCS Upper Subordinate . Candidates who successfully fill the application form will be issued the admit card ten days prior to the date of examination. UP PCS exam is conducted in three stages – preliminary, mains and interview.This year the exam is being conducted to recruit 300 candidates through general recruitment and 9 candidates through special recruitment. However,for the post of Assistant Conservators of Forest there are 02 and for the post of Range Forest Officer, there are 53 vacancies.UP PCS 2019 prelims exam is slte to be conducted on December 15, 2019. exam is held in order to recruit candidates for Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Provincial Civil Services (PCS) and Assistant Conservator of Forest (A.C.F.)/Range Forest Officer (R.F.O. as Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Block Development Officer, Statistical Officer etc.

The examination authority has determined the eligibility criteria of UP PCS for all aspiring candidatse. UP PCS eligibility criteria 2019 has been determined taking the age, education qualification and physical standards of the candidates. The details related to the candidates eligibility criteria is mentioned below.

The examination authority has released the application form of UP PCS on October 16, 2019 in online mode. Candidates can fill the application form of UP PCS in three stages - stage I, II and III. In the stage I of filling the application form, candidates have to register while in the second stage, candidates have to pay the application fee. In stage III, candidates have to fill all the required details in the application form.

UP PCS will conduct the UP PCS 2019 exam at various centres at different cities of Uttar Pradesh. The prelims exam of UP PCS is expected to be conducted in Agra, Allahabad, Azamgarh, Barabanki, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Etawah, Faizabad, Ghaziabad, Jaunpur, Jhansi, Kanpur Nagar, Lucknow, Meerut, Moradabad, Rae Bareli, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, Varanasi, Mainpuri and Mathura. Candidates can select the exam centre of their choice while filling out the application form of UP PCS. The allotment of the examination centres and the details related to it will be intimated to the candidates through the admit card.
UP PCS will issue the admit card of UP PCS 2019 prelims exam in December. The admit card will be issued to only those candidates who will successfully fill the application form. Candidates will be able to download the admit card in online mode by using their registration number, date of birth, gender and verification code. The admit card will contain name, roll number, registration number, photograph, signature, date, time and address of exam centre. Candidates must download the admit card and take at least two printouts of it. It is important for the candidate to bring the admit card to the exam centre on the day of exam along with one of the prescribed photo ID proofs.

Two papers – General Studies Paper I and II.
Conducted for 200 marks
Duration: 2 hours
Both the papers consists of objective type multiple choice questions.
There are 150 to 100 questions.
Paper II is a qualifying paper. Candidates have to secure 33% to qualify this paper.
Merit of candidates is determined on the basis of marks obtained in Paper I
Consists of compulsory and optional subjects
Candidates have to select one subject from the list of optional subjects.
Compulsory Subject includes - General Hindi, Essay and General Studies (First, Second, Third and Fourth papers)
All papers are conventional type except General Studies I, II and III which will comprise of objective type.

The cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates have to secure to qualify the UP PCS 2019 exam and become eligible for the next round of selection process. UP PCS releases cutoff for prelims, mains and interview as per different posts. On the basis of UP PCS cutoff candidates are declared qualified for each stage of the recruitment process. The examination authority announces the result of UP PCS in three stages – Prelims, Mains and Final result. All those who pass in the prelims exam have to appear for the ains exam, while the mains qualified candidates have to appear for a personality test. The final result of UP PCS is declared after the conclusion of the personality test. UP PCS result 2019 will be announced in the form of PDF. Candidates will be able to find the roll numbers of all the qualified candidates.. On the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in General Studies Paper I and II of Prelims, candidates will be selected for the mains exam. On the basis of the mains result, candidates three times the number of total vacancies will be selected for Interview. The final result will be declared based on the candidate’s performance in UP PCS 2019 mains exam and Interview.

Colonel, There is an upper age limit for UPPSC PCS. It is capped at 40 years. You will be 42 years by the year 2026. But by the virtue of serving the Nation and being an ex serviceman, you get an age relaxation of 10 years. So if you retire in 2026 at the age of 42, you still can appear for UPPSC. Now this is 2020 and we are talking about 2026. This eligibility criteria applies as long as the rules are not modified. If the rules and criteria change at any point in time then the eligibility criteria might change for you too. And there will be ex-serviceman quota for upto 1%.
