Staff Selection Commission has announced the SSC JHT 2024 vacancies on the official website, ssc.gov.in. A total of 3954 SSC JHT vacancies have been announced. The commission released the SSC JHT 2024 answer key for paper 1 on December 12, 2024. The SSC JHT 2024 answer key challenge window was available from December 12 to 14, 2024. The SSC JHT paper 1 exam 2024 was conducted on December 9, 2024. The commission issued the SSC JHT admit card 2024 on December 4, 2024. The SSC JHT 2024 application form correction window was activated from September 4 to 5, 2024. The SSC JHT 2024 application form was closed on August 25, 2024. The SSC JHT notification 2024 was released on August 2, 2024 in online mode.

Along with the SSC JHT 2024 notification, the application form was released on the official website. Candidates whose age is less than 30 years and who have a master's degree are eligible to apply for SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2024. Only candidates who qualify the paper 1 will be eligible to appear for paper 2 of SSC JHT 2024. The SSC JHT exam is tentatively scheduled to be held in October or November 2024.
The SSC JHT exam is for Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator, Hindi Pradhyapak post for various Departments/ Organisations and Ministries of the Government of India. SSC JHT 2024 exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission through two phases- Paper 1 and Paper 2. SSC JHT Eligibility Criteria 2024
Staff Selection Commission prescribes the SSC JHT 2024 eligibility criteria for all applicants wanting to appear for SSC Junior Hindi Translator Examination. SSC JHT eligibility criteria 2024 is prescribed by the SSC in its official notification, which will be released soon. SSC Junior Hindi Translator eligibility criteria mainly consist of age, education qualification and nationality.
SSC JHT Application Form 2024
The Commission closed the SSC JHT 2024 application form correction window on September 5, 2024 at ssc.gov.in. The SSC JHT application form 2024 correction window was activated on September 4, 2024. Staff Selection Commission deactivated the SSC JHT application form 2024 on August 25, 2024. SSC released the SSC JHT 2024 application form on the official website on August 2, 2024 in online mode. The application form of SSC JHT 2024 has to be filled out by the candidate in two parts - Part 1 and Part 2. Candidates will have to first register themselves in Part 1 by filling the basic details like their name, gender, date of birth, etc. In paper 2 they have to upload scanned documents and pay the online application fee.
SSC JHT Exam Pattern 2024
The Staff Selection Commission prescribed the SSC JHT 2024 exam pattern and mentioned it in the official notification. Candidates planning to prepare for the exam must refer to the detailed exam pattern. The exam pattern is of two stages - Paper 1 which is in CBT mode and Paper 2 is in descriptive test. Paper 1 has questions from - General Hindi and General English, while in Paper 2 candidates will have to write essays and do translation.

The commission prescribed the SSC JHT 2024 syllabus for both papers 1 and 2. SSC in the Junior Hindi Translator notification releases the syllabus for both papers 1 and 2 of the SSC JHT exam. SSC doesn't release the official question papers on its own, however, the unofficial SSC JHT 2024 question papers are released by various coaching institutions. SSC JHT Admit Card 2024
Staff Selection Commission released the admit card for SSC JHT 2024 on December 4, 2024 for paper 1. To download the SSC JHT 2024 admit card, candidates have to use their details like registration number and date of birth.
SSC JHT admit card 2024 is also available on the respective regional websites. The SSC JHT admit card has to be carried along with a valid photo ID - Aadhar card, voter ID, driving license etc.

SSC JHT Exam Analysis 2024

If you have cleared the SSC JHT exam but do not have your diploma degree at the time of the selection process you may face challenges with your eligibility for appointment. Typically SSC and similar examination boards require candidates to have completed their educational qualifications by the time of the document verification process.
In most of the cases the final selection and appointment are dependent on the submission of all required documents including the proof of educational qualifications. If you are unable to provide your diploma during the selection process due to its pending status it can affect your eligibility for the appointment.
However you can check if the SSC allows for a provisional acceptance or has a specific provision for candidates who are in the process of obtaining their degrees by visiting their official website and then get an idea that whether you might be able to provide a certificate or an affidavit from your institution confirming that you have completed all necessary coursework and will receive your diploma shortly.

Yes, you are eligible to sit for the SSC (Junior Hindi Translator) exam even if you did not study Hindi in your B.A. or M.A. in English.
The SSC JHT exam evaluates a candidate's proficiency in Hindi and English. While having studied Hindi in your previous degrees can be beneficial, it is not a strict requirement. As long as you meet the general eligibility criteria for the exam (such as educational qualifications and age limits), you can apply and appear for it.
However, it's advisable to prepare thoroughly for the Hindi language section of the exam. You might want to consider taking Hindi language courses or practicing Hindi grammar and vocabulary to enhance your skills.

YES, you are eligible for SSC JHT exam 2022.
The eligibility criteria for SSC JHT exam 2022 is as follows :
1. the candidate must not be over 30 years of age. 30 years is the maximum age limit.
II. The candidate must have the following educational qualifications :

Master’s degree in English with Hindi or vice versa as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level

Or master’s degree in any subject, with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subjects or medium of examination

see as per 2020 ssc jht notifications, below mentioned post are available for candidates through ssc jht;
A. Junior Translator in Central Secretariat Official
B. Junior Translator in M/o Railways (Railway Board

HOWEVER as per the notifications , this is not compulsory to have one english and one hindi in masters degree. candidates who has completed masters course in hindi with english as compulsory subject or have studied in english medium on degree level are eligible to apply. or candidates who has completed masters course in english with hindi as compulsory subject or have studied in hindi medium on degree level are eligible to apply.
