RRB Mumbai Group D Result 2018 - Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Mumbai has announced the result of RRB Mumbai Group D for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates can check the RRB Mumbai Group D result 2018 for PET using registration number and date of birth. The result for Computer Based Test (CBT) was declared on March 4, 2019 in the PDF format. The roll numbers of only the qualified candidates had been mentioned in the result of RRB Mumbai Group D. A total of 13,880 candidates have qualified for the second stage i.e Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The scores for the CBT has been calculated after the normalisation of scores.
The PET stage of RRB Group D 2018 was conducted from March 27, 2019 onwards. The examination authority has released a total of 4625 vacancies for RRB Mumbai Group D recruitment exam.

The exam of RRB Mumbai Group D is conducted for a total of 100 marks for 100 questions carrying 1 mark each. For each incorrect answer, ⅓ rd marks are deducted.
The score of RRB Mumbai Group D is calculated by the process of normalization. The marks of the candidates are calculated by following the formula given below:
Total score = Total number of correct answers x 1 – Total number of incorrect answers x 1/3
Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks in order to be shortlisted for the next stage. The minimum qualifying marks are determined by the exam conducting authority oh the basis of the category of the candidates. To qualify the first stage CBT, general category candidates must score at least 40% marks to qualify while candidates belonging to the reserved categories must score 30%. Apart from scoring the qualifying marks, candidates must stand high on the merit list in order to be shortlisted for the next round.

Normalization is the process through which the examination authority calculates the scores when the exam is conducted in multiple sessions. The marks are normalized to adjust the difficulty level of the question papers.
After the completion of CBT and PET, the qualified candidates will have to undergo a document verification round. Candidates must clear the document verification round for final selection. All those candidates who pass the medical fitness test and clear the document verification round will be selected for the final recruitment at Group D posts at RRB Mumbai.

NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET), is the national level entrance exam conducted every year by one of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for taking admissions on merit basis to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme.
This exam works across the NITs located in Agartala, Allahabad, Kurukshetra, Calicut, Raipur, Warangal, Surathkal, Durgapur, Trichy, Jamshedpur, Bhopal and Kurukshetra.
