SSC JHT Paper 1 Result 2020
The exam conducting authority has declared the SSC JHT result 2020 Paper I in a PDF format. Paper 1 is an objective paper which includes questions from General Hindi and General English. There are 100 questions from both subjects. Since the exam will be conducted in online mode hence commission will normalise the marks of applicants in paper 1 and accordingly declare the result of SSC JHT 2020.
How to calculate the score of SSC JHT 2020 Paper 1?

It is to be noted that the SSC JHT paper II is descriptive in nature. The score of paper 2 will also be calculated out of 200 marks only. Based on the collective marks in the exam, candidates will be further called for document verification.

The exam conducting authorities will announce the result of SSC JHT 2020 for the final stage based on the aggregate marks secured by applicants both in paper 1 and 2. Further to this successful candidates will be allotted to the different departments based on their merit and preferences of post/departments and marks scored by them in the exam.
SSC JHT Result 2020 - Resolution of Ties
SSC uses the formula of resolution of ties while declaring SSC JHT 2020 result. If in case more than one candidate has secured the equal aggregate marks, then the tie will be resolved by applying the following methods one after another in the given order:-
(1) Total marks secured in the written exam.
(2) Marks in Paper 1.
(3) Marks in Paper 2.
(4) Date of birth with older aspirants placed higher.
(5) Alphabetical order in the first names of the aspirants appear

A. Junior Translator in Central Secretariat Official
B. Junior Translator in M/o Railways (Railway Board
C. Junior Translator in Armed Forces Headquarters
D. Junior Translator (JT)/Junior Hindi Translator (JHT)
E. Senior Hindi Translator in various Central
HOWEVER as per the notifications , this is not compulsory to have one english and one hindi in masters degree. candidates who has completed masters course in hindi with english as compulsory subject or have studied in english medium on degree level are eligible to apply. or candidates who has completed masters course in english with hindi as compulsory subject or have studied in hindi medium on degree level are eligible to apply.

The educational qualification depends on the Post code that you want to apply for. For Post codes A to D, you need to have Master's degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or you can also have a Master's degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject. For Post Code E, you need to recognised Diploma or certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa. So you need to either study in English medium and have Hindi as a language or vice versa.

The eligibility depends on the post you are applying. For Post A to D you must have Master degree in Hindi with English as compulsory or elective or vice versa or Masters degree in any other subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi medium and English as compulsory certificate or vice versa and you must have two years experience in translating Hindi to English or vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking and must have recognized diploma or certificate in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa. For post E you need three years experience and recognized diploma or certificate along with Masters degree in Hindi or English. For Post F Bachelor's or Master's in Hindi or English with Hindi or English as compulsory or elective subject.
