The cutoff of APPSC Group 1 has been released at psc.ap.gov.in. The process to check the cut-off is explained below.

APPSC releases two types of cutoff marks – qualifying and overall. The details of these are explained below.
The preliminary exam of APPSC Group 1 consists of two papers – I and II. Each paper of the test carries 120 marks. The overall APPSC Group 1 cut off for preliminary exam will be calculated out of 240 marks. Candidates securing equal to or more than the cutoff marks in the preliminary exam will be selected for the mains exam. The category-wise qualifying marks of APPSC Group 1 is given in the table below.

The mains exam of APPSC Group 1 will consist of descriptive type paper. The test will have seven papers, out of which two papers are qualifying in nature. Each paper of mains exam will carry 150 marks. On the basis of APPSC Group 1 cutoff of mains exam, candidates will be selected for the interview in the ratio 1:2 as per the number of vacancies.
The minimum qualifying marks for Telugu and English for each individual paper is 40% for OC category while it is 35% for The qualifying cutoff for SC/ST/PH categories is 30%.
The cutoff of APPSC Group 1 for final selection will be released after completion of Oral Test/Interview. APPSC Group 1 cutoff 2019 for final selection will be determined based on mains exam and Oral Test/Interview. On the basis of APPSC Group 1 cutoff, candidates will be selected for appointment. APPSC Group 1 exam is conducted for recruitment to the post of Deputy Collectors, Assistant Commissioner of State Tax, District Fire Officers, Assistant Prohibition & Excise Superintendent, Mandal Parishad Development Officer etc. As many as 169 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment process.
