There is not much information given in the APPSC Group 1 result pdf, but only the applicants roll numbers are given in the form of a list so the applicants are advised to carefully enter their roll number while searching for it in the pdf.
APPSC first conducts a prelims exam for shortlisting eligible candidates for the APPSC Group 1 mains exam. The prelims exam marks are not considered in preparing the final APPSC Group 1 result merit list. So the applicants clearing the APPSC Group 1 cutoff of prelims will be eligible for the Group 1 mains exam. The prelims exam has two papers, which are a total of 240 marks having objective type questions. The purpose of this test is to evaluate the level of knowledge aspirants possess related to current affairs, Indian polity and economics and more.
Applicants qualifying the prelims exam will be eligible for APPSC Group 1 mains examination. The mains exam has six papers and they are subjective in nature. All the six papers are of 150 marks each. There are two language papers in it too which are qualifying in nature. Applicants need to appear for all the papers of the mains exam to be eligible for recruitment to the Group 1 posts. Candidates will be shortlisted for interview on the basis of the total marks obtained in the mains exam.
APPSC Group 1 2020 results will be released by commission on their official website - psc.ap.gov.in. Aspirants qualifying all the stages will be selected for recruitment for various posts under APPSC Group 1 examination. The score calculation formula is given below.
Total Score (for prelims) = Number of correct answer X 1 – Number of incorrect answer X -ve 1/3
The final APPSC Group 1 result 2020 will be announced after the selection process is over. The APPSC Group 1 final result will be prepared on the basis of the mains exam and interview. Applicants whose names will feature in the final list will be recruited to various vacancies released under the APPSC Group 1 2020 exam. The final result will also be released on the APPSC website - psc.ap.gov.in.
