SBI Clerk Mains 2023 English Language - Preparation Tips
Candidates who have a strong foundation in English won’t face much difficulty in the English Language section. Reading newspapers regularly is a very good practise that candidates can inculcate in their daily plan to strengthen their vocabulary and command over the English language. Along with this, candidates must know what topics they are weak at and prepare for such topics in the last days of the preparation. Candidates are also advised to practise as much mock tests as possible to enhance their speed and efficiency.
Preparation for Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability
The Reasoning Ability section of SBI Clerk Mains exam is indeed a difficult nut to crack and a lot of students face difficulties in this section. Talking about the Computer Aptitude section, In the past 3 years, no questions have been asked from the computer aptitude section. The major chunk of questions in the Reasoning section are from Puzzles and Seating arrangement topics. Candidates must have a strong hold over this section to score good in the SBI Mains. The age limit for SBI Clerk and IBPS Clerk 2025 is usually 20 to 28 years , with age relaxation for reserved categories.
Since you were born on October 5, 1996 , you will be 29 years old in 2025. This means you will not be eligible for these exams under the general category. However, if you belong to a reserved category (like OBC, SC, ST, etc.), you may get age relaxation.

The RBA (Resident of Backward Area) certificate in Jammu & Kashmir is a domicile-based reservation and is not the same as OBC (Other Backward Classes) reservation at the central level.
key points ;-
- RBA is a state-specific category in J&K and provides benefits under the J&K government’s reservation policies.
- OBC is a central category, and to claim OBC benefits in SBI Clerk (or any central government job), you need an OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate issued as per the Central OBC list.
- RBA is NOT recognized as OBC at the central level, so you cannot use an RBA certificate to claim an OBC reservation for the SBI Clerk exam.

It is unlikely to create a problem during the document verification (DV) process, as long as the university name on your certificates matches the details provided in your application form. However, since your college (ABC) is affiliated with XYZ University, it's important that the certificates or documents you present clearly show the relationship between the two.
To be on the safe side, you can:

Check your documents: Ensure that the university name (XYZ) is correctly mentioned, and that it doesn't cause confusion with your college (ABC).

Include the affiliation information : If possible, mention in your application or provide a separate document stating that your college is affiliated with XYZ University.

Clarify during DV (Document Verification): If any questions arise, you can clarify this during the document verification by showing the affiliation of your college with the university.
If the documents are genuine and correctly reflect your academic background, this minor discrepancy should not pose a major issue.
