The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana, will release the TG TET 2027 notification on the official website of tgtet.aptonline.in. The TG TET 2027 exam will be conducted tentatively in January and June/July 2027. The official TG TET notification 2027 will be released by late 2026 or early 2027. The TG TET application form will be released along with the official notification.

The Department provides the TG TET eligibility criteria 2027 in the official notification. Candidates can go through the official website to check their eligibility to appear for the exam. The TG TET eligibility criteria differ for Paper-I and Paper-II. The following points specify the eligibility criteria for both papers
TG TET 2027 Eligibility criteria for Paper-I
The candidates must have
Completed their intermediate or senior secondary with 50% marks in any stream
Graduated with atleast 40% marks and a one- year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree (or)
Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and a four-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed degree
TG TET 2027 Eligibility criteria for Paper-II
The candidates must have
Scored 50 % marks in B.A/B.Sc/B.Com
The minimum marks for SC/ST/BC or differently abled candidates is 40%
Graduated with a language considered as one of the optional subjects or a bachelor’s degree in an oriental language (or its equivalent), OR graduated in literature, OR post-graduation in a concerned language.

The TG TET exam pattern 2027 is designed in such a way that the certification is provided separately for Paper-I and Paper-II. The candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to V have to appear for Paper-I, and the candidates who intend to be teachers for classes VI to VIII have to appear for Paper-II. The candidates who intend to be teachers for all classes from I to VIII have to appear for both papers, i.e., Paper-I and Paper-II.
