The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana, activated the TGTET 2026 application form link on April 15, 2026, on the official website at tgtet.aptonline.in. The last date to fill out the TG TET application form 2026 is April 30, 2026. Earlier, the TGTET notification 2026 for the June session was released on April 13, 2026, on the official website at tgtet.aptonline.in. Candidates can start downloading the complete TGTET 2026 notification from April 15, 2026, onwards.
All the candidates who have successfully submitted the application can download their TGTET admit card 2026 from June 9, 2026. The exam conducting authority has released the TGTET 2026 exam dates for the June session on the official website. As per the notice, the TGTET exam is to be held from June 15 to 30, 2026. The TGTET result 2026 for june session will be declared from July 28 to 31, 2026.
The authorities conduct TG TET to qualify candidates as teachers for the state. DSE, Telangana, conducts the TG TET 2026 exam to qualify candidates for the role of teachers in two categories – classes 1 to 5 and classes 6 to 8.
Based on the categories, the candidates who want to teach will have to appear in either Paper 1 (for classes 1 - 5) or Paper 2 (for classes 6 – 8). However, candidates aspiring to teach both categories will have to take both papers. The body has prescribed the qualifying cutoff for each category. Candidates securing equal to or more than the qualifying cutoff will be considered as having qualified for the examination.
