IFS 2020 - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the admit card of UPSC IFS 2020 for the prelims exam in online mode tentatively on May 15. Graduates between the age of 21 to 32 years as on August 1, 2020 who successfully filled IFS 2020 application from February 12 to March 3, 2020 will only be issued the admit card. The admit card of IFS 2020 will be released tentatively on May 15 in online mode. The UPSC IFS exam will be held in three stages - prelims, mains, and personality test. The prelims exam of IFS 2020 is conducted for two papers - General paper I and II of 200 marks each while the mains exam is conducted for six papers. All the candidates who qualify in the UPSC IFS prelims exam have to appear for the mains exam. The mains qualified candidates will further have to appear for the personality test after which the final recruitment will be done.UPSC IFS 2020 prelims exam is to be conducted on May 31 in offline mode. The authority has mentioned the IFS 2020 eligibility criteria for all the aspiring candidates in its notification PDF. IFS eligibility criteria 2020 has been determined on the basis of age and educational qualification of the candidates. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of IFS 2020 before filling the application form.
IFS2020 Eligibility Criteria is on the basis following two factors:

However, the exam conducting authority have given various age relaxations to the candidates belonging to the reserved category.

UPSC had released the application form of IFS in online mode on February 12, 2020. Eligible candidates should fill the IFS 2020 application till March 3. The IFS application form is filled for the prelims and the mains exam separately. Along with the filling of the application form, candidates must also pay the application fee in online mode. Candidates belonging to the general category had to pay the application fee of Rs 100 while candidates belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/PWD) and women of all categories were exempted from fee payment of the online application fees. Before filling the application form, candidates must have the following items ready:

Scanned copy of photograph and signature

Candidates qualifying in the prelims exam of IFS 2020 will have to fill the mains detailed application form (DAF). To fill DAF, candidates have to visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.nic.in. Candidates must fill all the details mentioned in the application form correctly and take the print out of the application form after the final submission.
While filling the application form, candidates will be able to select the IFS 2020 exam centres as per their preferences.The exam of IFS 2020 will be conducted at various centres at 82 cities across the country. However, the mains exam of IFS 2020 will be held at selected centres only. The allotment of the exam centres of IFS 2020 will be given to the candidates through the admit card. It must be remembered by the candidates that e4xam centres once allotted will not be changed by the authorities in any circumstances. UPSC has prescribed the exam pattern of IFS 2020 for the various stages in which the exam is held. IFS exam pattern 2020 contains different phases of the exam, sections from where the questions will be asked, marks distribution, total number of questions and duration of the examination. As per the exam pattern of Indian Forest Services 2020, the exam will be held in the following three stages:

The test will be conducted for two papers - General Studies I and General Studies II
Each of the two papers will be conducted for 200 marks each which makes the prelims exam to be of a total of 400 marks.
Both the papers of the prelims exam will contain objective type questions.
Each question will carry 1 mark.
One-third marks will be deducted for each wrong answer given by the candidates.
Candidates will be given 2 hours to complete each paper i.e, a total of 4 hours will be allotted to the complete the preliminary exam.
All those candidates who pass in the prelims exam will only be eligible to appear in the mains exam of IFS 2020.
The mains exam of Indian Forest Services 2020 will be conducted for six papers - paper I, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Paper 1 and 2 will be held for a total of 300 marks each while paper 3, 4, 5, and 6 will be held for 200 marks each which makes the amisn exam a 1200 marks stage.
Candidates will be given 3 hours for each paper.
Candidates who qualify in the mains exam must appear for the Interview/Personality Test round which is held for a total of 300 marks.
Candidates will be able to download the admit card of IFS 2020 for all the three phases of exam - prelims, mains, and Interview call letter separately. IFS admit card 2020 for the prelims stage will be released tentatively on May 15 in online mode at the official website of UPSC. Candidates will be able to download the admit card of IFS 2020 by using their registration/roll numbers. IFS admit card 2020 will contain the name of the candidates, date of birth, photograph, father's name, registration number, roll number, name of the exam, date and time of the exam and exam centre details. Candidates must get their admit card printed and bring it to the exam centre on exam day. Along with it, candidates must also bring one of the prescribed photo ID proofs - Aadhar card, Voter ID card, PAN card, Passport, Driving license.

IFS Admit Card 2020 For Prelims - The admit card for the prelims exam will be issued to all those candidates who will successfully fill the application form.
IFS 2020 Admit Card For Mains - Indian forest services admit card 2020 for the mains exam will be issued to only those candidates who will qualify in the prelims exam of IFS 2020.
IFS Interview Call Letter 2020 - The interview call letter will be issued to all those candidates who will pass the mains exam. The interview call letter will contain the schedule for the Interview/Personality Test and interview for the test.
The official answer key of Indian Forest Services 2020 will be released by UPSC once the selection process is completed. The IFS 2020 answer key will be released in the form of PDF containing the correct answers to all the question appears sets given to the candidate on the day of exam. It must be remembered by the candidates that the authorities do not allow to raise challenges in the IFS 2020 answer key.
The minimum marks determined by the examination authority to shortlist the candidates to the next stage of the selection process is called the IFS cut off. The determination of the IFS 2020 cut off is done on the basis of the total vacancies, number of candidates taking the exam, and difficulty level of the question paper. IFS cut off 2020 will be different for each stage of the exam. Candidates who score marks equal to or more than the prelims cut off marks will be shortlisted for the mains exam while those securing mains cut off marks will be selected for the personality test. The final IFS 20220 cut off will be released by taking the marks secured in the mains and interview/personality test. The table below contains the cut off marks of the mains exam held in 2018. The exam conducting authorities will announce the UPSC IFS 2020 result for prelims in PDF form in June 2020. The IFS result 2020 PDF will contain the roll number of all the qualified candidates. All those candidates who will be to find their roll numbers in the IFS 2020 result PDF will have to further appear for the mains exam. The final result of IFS 2020 will be declared taking the marks of only the mains exam and interview while the prelims stage of the exam is qualifying in nature. Hello student cut off vary every year on various factors like the level of question in the entrance examination and total number of applicants in that examination. This year the cut off is not released yet but as per previous year records its expected that cutoff for ifs will be around 910 Mark's.
