IFS Exam Pattern 2024 - For Prelims Exam
The UPSC IFS exam has two papers of general studies - GS papers 1 and 2. Each IFS prelims exam paper is of 200 marks. Prelims GS paper 1 has 100 questions whereas GS paper 2 has 80 questions. Subjects asked in the IFS prelims exam are English, General Awareness, Reasoning, Current Affairs, Polity, History, Geography and more. The duration of each IFS paper is 2 hours. Also, there is a negative marking for each incorrect answer in the preliminary exam as per the IFS exam pattern.

IFS Exam Pattern 2024 - For Mains Exam
The IFS mains exam is also conducted in an offline mode having six descriptive papers. The duration of each IFS mains paper is 3 hours each. There is no negative marking in the IFS main exam. IFS Exam Pattern 2024 - For Personality Test
Candidates qualifying for the IFS mains exam are called for the UPSC interview. The IFS interview is held in offline mode. It is of 300 marks. The marks of the UPSC IFS interview are taken into consideration for preparing the final IFS merit list. The UPSC personality test is to evaluate the personality of the applicant.

The Farrukhabad district is further divided in to Tehsils / Blocks / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes. To become an IFS officer you need to qualify the UPSC CSE examination. The eligibility for this examination is that you need to be a graduate in any subject. So you can study any subject which will make you eligible for UPSC CSE. Now for being an IFS you need to score good in your UPSC CSE examination and for that you have to prepare well for the UPSC syllabus. So you can do graduation in any subject there are no restrictions about it. To be an IFS officer you need to study well for UPSC.

Hello student no it's not mandatory to have a graduate degree in Bsc ZBC.
As per eligibility criteria student should be graduate with one of the following subjects to be eligible - Chemistry, Botany, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology and Statistics.
If you hold a bachelor degree in any one of the subjects mentioned above then you're eligible for UPSC IFS.
Age eligibility - Minimum 21
Maximum 32 (General category)

There are many factors which decide our posting in foreign countries ,also one of the major is language which is must we must know the language where we will work.Another is demand ,if your demand will be more in any country for something then you have to go their ,here language doesn't matter because English is common language,another factor is relation with the country ,if our national relation good with a country the high chances for our people to go their for job.Hence these factors decide Posting in other countries.
