The UPSC IFS result 2024 can be downloaded for the exam in PDF format. The Commission releases the UPSC IFS result of UPSC separately for each stage of the IFS exam.

The UPSC IFS result will be released in two formats, first with the roll number of the candidates then they release the Indian Forest Service result, with names of qualified candidates. Union Public Service Commission declares the UPSC IFS result 2024 individually for each stage of the Indian Forest Service exam. Applicants clearing the IFS prelims exam GS paper 1 and 2, are eligible to appear for the IFS mains examination. The final stage of the UPSC IFS selection process is personality test. After the IFS personality test/ interview is over, the Commission releases the final IFS result 2024 which is prepared on the basis of the marks scored by candidates in the IFS mains exam and personality test. The stages of UPSC IFS result 2024 are as follows:
The Commission will declare the IFS result 2024 for the prelims at its official website. The IFS result PDF for the prelims exam contains the names as well as roll numbers of all the qualified applicants who are eligible to appear for IFS mains examination. The IFS prelims exam has two papers of 200 marks each in which objective type questions. For each wrong answer there is negative marking in the IFS prelims paper. The IFS result for the prelims exam is based on the marks obtained by aspirants in both the GS paper 1 as paper 2 is qualifying in nature.
Aspirants qualifying the Indian Forest Service prelims exam are eligible to appear in the UPSC IFS mains examination 2024. The IFS mains exam is descriptive in nature, there are a total of 6 papers in this stage, which together are of 1400 marks. Marks of IFS mains exam are considered in preparing the final IFS merit list. The result of the IFS mains exam is announced on the basis of applicants' performance in all the papers put together. The aspirants qualifying the UPSC IFS mains exam are called for the personality test.
UPSC Indian Forest Service personality test is of 300 marks. Marks of IFS personality test/ interview are considered in preparing the final IFS merit list of candidates who qualified the UPSC Indian Forest Service exam. There is no minimum marks requirement in the personality test stage for application to clear this stage.

The final selection of applicants in the Indian Forest Service 2024 exam is done on the basis of their performance in the IFS mains exam and personality test. When multiple aspirants secure equal marks in the IFS 2024 examination then a situation of tie arises. The IFS result 2024 tie situation is then resolved by applying the procedure prescribed by the Union Public Service Commission in the official IFS notification 2024.

Hello student no it's not mandatory to have a graduate degree in Bsc ZBC.
As per eligibility criteria student should be graduate with one of the following subjects to be eligible - Chemistry, Botany, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology and Statistics.
If you hold a bachelor degree in any one of the subjects mentioned above then you're eligible for UPSC IFS.
Age eligibility - Minimum 21
Maximum 32 (General category)
