RRC Group D Exam 2019 - Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has released the notification of RRC Group D on February 23, 2019. The notification has been released for the recruitment of a total of 103769 vacancies in Group D at 16 regions of Railways. The application form is available from March 12 in online mode. Candidates between 18 to 33 years of age holding the prescribed educational qualification as per the notification, can fill the application form till April 12, 2019. Candidates who fill the application form successfully within the allotted time frame will be issued the admit card of RRC Group D 2019.

RRC Group D exam is conducted in two phases - Computer Based Test (CBT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The exam of RRC Group D 2019 for CBT is expected to be held in September-October 2019. The examination authority has determined the eligibility criteria of RRC Group D 2019 for all aspiring candidates. Candidates must fulfill RRC Group D eligibility criteria before they fill the application form. The eligibility criteria of RRC Group D is determined on the basis of age and education qualification of the candidates.
The eligibility criteria has been mentioned below on the basis of:

However, there are certain age relaxations that are provided to the reserved category candidates.
Candidates must have passed class 10th and also have completed ITI from institutionsrecognised by NCVT/SCVT
Must have completed their class 10th and hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate by NCVT
The authority has released the application form of RRC Group D 2019 on March 12. The application form has been released in online mode. Candidates will be able to fill the RRC Group D application form 2019 till April 12. Along with filling the application fee, candidates must also pay the prescribed application fee. The application fee must be paid in online mode or through SBI/Bank Post Office Challan. The online application fee can be paid till April 23, 2019 while the application fee through SBI/Post Office Challan can be paid till April 18, 2019.

The application fee is determined by the examination authority on the basis of category of the candidates. The table below contains the category-wise application fee of RRC Group D.

Candidates must go through the exam pattern of RRC Group D before they start preparing for the examination. RRC Group D exam pattern 2019 contains the details related to the exam - phases, sections from where questions can be asked, total numbers of questions, marking scheme, duration of the exam etc. A per the exam pattern of RRC Group D, the exam will be conducted for the following stages:

The questions will be asked from four sections - General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness & Current Affairs.
The test will be conducted for a total of 100 marks wherein General Science and Mathematics will be conducted for 25 marks, General Intelligence and Reasoning will be held for 30 marks while General Awareness and Current Affairs will be conducted for 20 marks.
Candidates will be given 1 hour 30 minutes to complete this test.
For each wrong answer given by the candidates, 1/3 marks will be deducted.
The syllabus of RRC Group D contains all the topics from where the questions are expected to be asked in the exam. Candidates must go through the syllabus of RRC syllabus 2019 before they start preparing for the exam. In the syllabus of RRC Group D, topics from sections - General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness & Current Affairs will be mentioned. By going through the syllabus of RRC Group D, candidates will not need to go here and there in search of topics to study as they will find all the topics at one place only.
The exam authority will issue the admit card of RRC Group D 2019 to all those candidates who will successfully fill the application form. RRC Group D admit card 2019 will be issued ten days prior to the date of examination. The admit card will be issued in online mode, the intimation of which will be given to the candidates through SMS/email. The admit card must be download by the candidates by using their login credentials. The admit card of RRC Group D, 2019 will contain the details related to the candidates and exam - name, photograph, signature, date of birth, registration/roll number, exam date and time and exam centre. Candidates must take a print out of the admit card and bring it to the exam centre on the day of exam along with one of the prescribed ID proofs - Aadhar card, Voter ID card, Passport, PAN card, Driving License.
The answer key of RRC Group D 2019 will be published by the examination body few days after the conclusion of the exam. RRC Group D answer key 2019 will contain the correct answers to all the questions asked in the exam. To check the answer key of RRC Group D, candidates will have to use their login credentials. By going through the answer key, candidates will be able to calculate their expected scores and thus predict their chances to qualify the test. In case of discrepancies in the answer key, candidates will be able to raise objections. The authority will then scrutinise the answer key and release the final answer key of RRC Group D 2019 on the basis of which the result will be announced.
The examination cell will announce the result of RRC Group D in online mode for the CBT, PET and final result after document verification. The result for the CBT will be declared after following the process of normalisation. Candidates who will score the minimum cut off marks determined by the examination authority after the normalisation process will be considered qualified. Candidates who will be shortlisted in the CBT stage of exam will have appeared for the PET. Candidates who will qualify in the PET stage will have appear for document verification after which the final result will be announced. The final result will contain the names of all those candidates who will be shortlisted for the final recruitment in group D.
The exam conducting authority will release the cut off of RRC Group D 2019 in order to shortlist the candidates to the next stage of the selection process. RRC Group D cut off will be released category wise. All those candidates who will score the cut off of RRC Group D 2019 as per their category will be shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process.
