RRC Group D Exam 2020 - The Railway Recruitment Cells releases the notification of RRC Group D 2020 on their respective websites. Candidates between the age group of 18 to 33 years of age who hold the prescribed academic qualification are eligible to apply for RRC Group D recruitment 2020. RRC Group D Exam 2020 dates are yet to be released. The online exam is expected to be held later in 2020. In 2019, there were a total of 103769 vacancies. RRC Group D application form was available from March 12 in online mode. RRC Group D examination is conducted in two phases - Computer Based Test (CBT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). RRC determines the eligibility criteria of RRC Group D exam. Candidates must meet the RRC Group D eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The eligibility criteria of RRC Group D comprises age and academic qualification.
Minimum age Limit - 18 years
Maximum Age Limit - 33 years
However, RRC provides age relaxation candidates belonging from reserved categories.
RRC Group D Academic Qualification - Candidates must have passed class 10th and also have completed ITI from the institutions recognised by NCVT/SCVT Or Must have completed their class 10th and hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate by NCVT.
RRC has expected to release the application form of RRC Group D in 2020. RRC Group D registration form will be released in online mode. Candidates will have to fill the RRC Group D application form in online mode along with paying the application fee in online mode or through SBI/Bank Post Office Challan.

RRC prescribes the application fee of the Group D exam on the basis of the category of candidates. From the following table, candidates can check the category-wise application fee of RRC Group D.

In order to qualify the exam, candidates must go through the exam pattern of RRC Group D before preparing for it. RRC Group D exam pattern 2020 consists of the sections, total numbers of questions, marking scheme, duration of the exam etc. As per the exam pattern of RRC Group D, the exam will be conducted in the following stages:
Computer Based Test (CBT)
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
The questions in CBT will be asked from four sections - Mathematics, General Science, General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness & Current Affairs. CBT will be conducted for 100 marks with General Science and Mathematics consisting of 25 marks, General Intelligence and Reasoning of 30 marks and General Awareness and Current Affairs for 20 marks. Candidates will be given 90 minutes to complete CBT and for each wrong answer, 1/3 marks will be deducted as negative marking.
The syllabus consists of topics from where the questions in the question papers will be based on. Aspiring candidates must check the syllabus of RRC Group D exam 2020 before starting their preparation for the exam. In the syllabus of RRC Group D there will be 4 sections - General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness & Current Affairs.
RRC will issue the admit card of RRC Group D 2020 to all those candidates who have successfully applied for the exam. RRC Group D admit card 2020 will be issued ten days before the commencement of the exam. The admit card will be issued in online mode and candidates will be intimated via SMS/email. Candidates must download the admit card using their login credentials. The admit card will consist of various important information like details related to candidates and exam centre - candidate's name, scanned photograph & signature, candidate's date of birth, registration/roll number, exam date and time and the address of the RRC Group D exam centre. Candidates must take a print out of the admit card and carry it along with one of the prescribed ID proofs - Aadhar card, Voter ID card, Passport, PAN card, Driving License to the exam centre on the day of the exam.
RRC will publish the answer key a few days after the exam is conducted. The answer key will contain all the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. To check the answer key of RRC Group D, candidates will have to use their login credentials and sign in into the official website of the respective RRCs. By going through the answer key, candidates can calculate their expected scores and predict their chances of qualification. In case of any discrepancies in the answer key, they can also raise objections. RRC will then scrutinise the answer key and release the final answer key and on the basis of which the result will be announced.
RRC will declare the result of RRC Group D in online mode for the CBT, PET and final result after document verification is done. The result of CBT will be declared after following the normalisation process. Candidates who score the minimum cut off marks determined by the respective RRCs will be considered qualified in the exam. Candidates who will be shortlisted in the CBT stage will be eligible to appear for the PET. Candidates who qualify in the PET stage will be eligible to appear for the document verification which is the final stage of the selection process, after which the final result of RRC Group D will be announced. The final result will contain the name of all candidates who will be shortlisted for the final recruitment in the Group D post.
RRC will release the cut off of Group D 2020 in order to shortlist the candidates to the subsequent stage of the exam. RRC Group D cut off will be released category wise. All candidates who score the cut off of RRC Group D 2020 as per their category will be shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process.
The RRC Group D exam is conducted in three phases - Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification and Medical Round. The first round, CBT has questions from General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness on the basis of Current Affairs. To qualify the exam and get recruited candidates must go through each round of the selection process and qualify it. To pass the CBT round they will have to score equal to or more than the cut off marks as prescribed by the exam conducting body.
To qualify the RRC Group D exam 2020, candidates need to prepare well and in a more efficient way. Considering the less number of vacancies and the more number of applicants, this is a tough exam to crack. However, if you have prepared well, you can do it without any fuss. The preparation includes being alert with current affairs, good with mathematics, know in-depth knowledge of General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Science. Candidates must also solve previous year questions of RRC Group D to know about the question pattern and the ability to solve it quickly. Apart from this, they must also involve in exercises to have a strong build up as Group D posts require candidates to travel long distances on foot and lift heavy equipment whenever and wherever necessary.
The RRC Group D question papers are published by RRCs on their respective official website. Candidates can download the question papers and practice it to strengthen their preparation for RRC Group D exam 2020. The question paper of RRC Group D contains 100 questions in various languages. By solving the questions in the question papers test candidates ability on the basis of Aptitude, General Knowledge etc. While the PET will test candidates physical ability and also their ability to lift heavy equipment, run for a few distances etc.
RRC Group D exam 2020 will be conducted on the exam centres as prescribed by the exam conducting body. These exam centres are divided as per the various RRC zones. While filling the application form, candidates can choose their preferred exam centre city from the options available. The actual address and details related to the venue will be mentioned in the candidates admit card which will be released a few days before the exam.
There are three stages in the RRC Group D exam - CBT, PET, DV and Medical.
Yes there is a negative marking of 1/3rd mark per question in the CBT round. If the question attempted by candidates is found to be wrong, the marks will be deducted.
The age limit is 18-38 years while the minimum academic qualification is 10th pass of ITI.
As per the 7th pay commission, the salary is Rs. 18,000/- (Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix) plus allowances. In hand salary can be anything around 20000-25000.

See RRB in general have a generalized pattern among all of it examinations. So if you prepare for RPF SI it would be more helpful for you to clear RRB Group D. I would recommend you to target the examination which is a level harder than what you target and believe me this increases the possibility.

Nationality
A candidate must be either:
(A) A citizen of India, or
(B) A subject of Nepal, or
(C) A subject of Bhutan, or
(D) Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(E) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Candidates should be between 18 to 33 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories
RRB Educational Qualification:
The railway board has set a minimum level of education qualification that a candidate must possess in order to appear for the RRB Group D level 1 examination.

RRB Medical Standards:
Like educational qualification, the railway board has prescribed the RRB Group D medical requisites in the notification. Candidates who are called for DV – document verification have to pass the required medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration.
