RRC Group D Exam Pattern 2020 – Railway Recruitment Cells prescribes the exam pattern of RRC Group D 2020. RRC Group D 2020 paper pattern contains all the sections, topics and subjects, total number questions and marking scheme. RRC Group D exam pattern 2020 also consists of the distribution of section-wise marks and the duration of the exam. As per the RRC Group D 2020 exam pattern Level 1, the online test will have questions based on General Science, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Mathematics and General Awareness as well as Current Affairs. With the help of the RRC Group D paper pattern 2020, candidates can understand the overall structure of the exam and it can help in their preparation. RRC Group D application forms were released on March 12, 2019 on the respective websites of the RRCs. As of now, the RRC Group D 2020 exam hasn't been conducted. However, it is expected that the exam will be conducted in 2020 later. In this article, candidates can check all the details related to the RRC exam pattern 2020.
The RRC Group D exam is conducted in 3 Stages -
Computer Based Test (CBT)
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Document Verification.
The first stage which is the CBT (Computer Based Test) consists of 100 questions and the total marks allotted is also 100.
The CBT is an objective type. The exam duration is 90 minutes while the exam duration for PwBD category is 120 minutes.
The negative marking for each wrong answer is 0.25 Marks
The minimum qualifying marks for UR/EWS is 40% while the same for OBC/SC/ST is 30%.
As per exam pattern of RRC Group D 2020, candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer attempted.
No marks will be deducted as unattempted questions.

Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for the PET, Physical Efficiency Test. This test will be conducted to evaluate candidates’ physical fitness. Below are the specification of PET to shortlist candidates-

The number of candidates selected for PET will be thrice the number of post of same community notified against RRBs/RRCs
RRCs may increase or decrease the number of selected candidates to ensure availability of adequate number of candidates.
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is qualifying in nature and candidates have to pass the PET test to get selected for next round.
RRCs release the merit list after PET on the basis of their performance in written exam and PET. Only the selected candidates will be called for document verification. The number of candidates selected for DV will be twice the number of vacancies. For releasing the final result, all candidates who successfully pass the DV round will be called for the medical exam.
Apart from knowing the RRC Group D exam pattern 2020, candidates must also check the syllabus as provided in the table below. The syllabus of RRC Group D comprises the subjects and topics on which the exam question papers will be based.

Note: The difficulty level of the exam will be asked in the General Science section will be of CBSE Class 10th standard.
The normalization of marks will be implemented if the exam will be held in multiple sessions. The exam conducting authority will consider the normalisation for selecting the eligible candidates for document verification.
The RRCs announced a total of 103769 vacancies to be filled in Level 1 positions under the RRC Group D exam. RRC Group D 2020 exam will be conducted by all the 16 regions The exam is conducted to shortlist candidates for the post of several posts like assistant C and W, workshop assistant, assistant loco shed, assistant depot, assistant pointsman, assistant track machine, etc, into various departments of the Indian Railways.

There are 3-stages in the RRC Group D exam. CBT, PET and DV.
CBT stands for Computer Based Test, PET stands for Physical Efficiency Test and DV stands for Document Verification.
There are 100 questions in CBT. The CBT is objective type based.

See RRB in general have a generalized pattern among all of it examinations. So if you prepare for RPF SI it would be more helpful for you to clear RRB Group D. I would recommend you to target the examination which is a level harder than what you target and believe me this increases the possibility.

RRB/ RRC Group-D 2020 examinations will begin from 15th December 2020.
Nationality
A candidate must be either:
(A) A citizen of India, or
(B) A subject of Nepal, or
(C) A subject of Bhutan, or
(D) Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(E) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that the Government of India had issued eligibility certificate to candidates belonging to (b), (c), (d), and (e)
Age Limit
Candidates should be between 18 to 33 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories
RRB Educational Qualification:
The railway board has set a minimum level of education qualification that a candidate must possess in order to appear for the RRB Group D level 1 examination.
A candidate who wishes to appear for Group D Railway exam must have:
Any of the above degrees from a government recognised institution/Board/NCVT/SCVT is acceptable.
RRB Medical Standards:
Like educational qualification, the railway board has prescribed the RRB Group D medical requisites in the notification. Candidates who are called for DV – document verification have to pass the required medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration.
