RRC Group D Exam Pattern 2019

RRC Group D Exam Pattern 2019 – Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs) have released the exam pattern for Group D recruitment examination along with the notification. RRC Group D notification 2019 has been published on March 12, 2019. RRC Group D exam pattern 2019 contains the name of sections, total questions and marks, distribution of section-wise marks, marking scheme, and duration of the exam. As per the exam pattern, the online test will consist of questions from General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness and Current Affairs. With the help of RRC Group D exam pattern 2019, candidates can understand the structure of the exam in a better way.

RRC Group D 2019 Exam Pattern Details

The Computer Based Test (CBT) of RRC Group D 2019 will consist of 100 questions and total marks allotted for the exam is 100. The exam will contain only objective type questions. Candidates will be provided 90 minutes to complete the exam stage. The detailed exam pattern of RRC Group D 2018 for CBT has been provided in the table below.

Note: Candidates belonging to PwD categories will be given 120 minutes to complete the online exam.

RRC Group D Exam Pattern 2019 – Marking Scheme

As per RRC Group D exam pattern, candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every correct response. Negative marking is also applicable for the exam and 1/3 (0.33) marks allotted for each question will be deducted for each incorrect answer. However, no marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.

Note: The difficulty level of the questions asked in General Science section will be identical to that of Class 10 CBSE standard.

RRC Group D 2019 examination will be conducted by 16 regions of Railway Recruitment Cells to shortlist candidates for recruitment to the posts of workshop assistant, assistant bridge, assistant C and W, assistant depot, assistant loco shed, assistant pointsman, assistant track machine, etc, in various departments of the Indian Railways. The RRCs have announced a total of 103769 vacancies in Level 1 positions under Group D examination. The Cells will recruit candidates for the posts on the basis of three exam stages - Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Document Verification (DV).
