Candidates willing to appear for RRC Group D must meet the below mentioned eligibility criteria:

RRC Group D Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Nationality 

  • Candidates applying for RRC Group D must be a citizen of India

  • A subject of Bhutan, Nepal or a Tibetan Refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Zambia Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that they must have a certificate of eligibility that has been issued by the Government of India. 


RRC Group D Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Age Limit 

Those who are applying for the exam, must know the minimum and maximum age limit in order to avoid rejection at later stage.

  • The minimum age to apply for RRC Group D eligibility criteria is 18 years. 

  • The maximum age to apply for RRC exam is 33 years. 

  • Also, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation on upper age limit. Candidates can check below the table to know the age-relaxation given to the following categories.

RRC Group D Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Educational Qualification 

Those candidates who have passed class 10th and also have done ITI from institutions recognised by NCVT/SCVT can apply for RRC Group D exam Or

They must have completed their class 10th and hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate by NCVT
