  • Class B or Tier II cities have 18% HRA & Transport Allowance of Rs 1,800 + Current DA on transport allowance.

  • Class C or Tier III cities having HRA of 8% and Transport Allowance (TA) of Rs 1,800 + Current DA on transport allowance.

So we will calculate as per basic of Rs 35, 400 of a Junior Engineer who will be posted at Class A city.

How to Calculate RRB JE Salary 2024?

  1. Basic = Rs 35,400

  2. DA = 35,400 * 17 % = Rs 6,018

  3. HRA = 35,400 * 24 % = Rs 8,496

  4. TA = 3,600 + 3,600 *17% = 3,600 + 612 = 4,212

RRB JE Gross Salary (35,400 + 6,018 + 8,496 + 4,212) = Rs 54,126

Railway JE Salary Deductions

There will be EPF and NPS deductions in Railway JE in hand salary.

NPS 10 % of Basic pay = Rs 3,540

Professional tax = Rs 2,00

CGIS = Rs 30

Total deductions - 3,770

RRB JE in Hand Salary = 54,126 - 3,770 = Rs. 50,356

First of all your question is not properly stated. Because it is not clear that for which group you are asking.
But as per your profile I can assume I can assume that you are and engineering aspirant and you are asking about other subjects exam other than engineering exams.

So, if you are passed your class 12th then you can also go in the law field, so fir then you have to give Clat exam. And if you ate from PCBM stream then you can also go in the medical Field, i.e, you can give neet exam.

So, there are wide range of opportunities so, choose wisely the field you will be pursuing.

JE (IT): Candidates must have PGDCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ BCA/ B.Tech. (Information Technology)/ B.Tech. (Computer Science)/ DOEACC ‘B’ level course of three years duration or equivalent.

CMA: Degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry with minimum 55% marks.
