Apart from the salary, selected candidates will also be able to avail various Dearness Allowance (DA), Transport Allowance (TA), Pension Scheme, House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Medical Benefits.
As per the eligibility criteria of RRB 2020-21 NTPC, candidates who fall between the age of 18 years to 33 years can apply for the RRB NTPC posts. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given upper age relaxation. Apart from the age limit criteria, candidates must have a graduation degree to apply for the available posts.
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be able to fill the application form. The application form will have to be filled in online mode only. While filling it, they will have to upload their personal details like Name, DOB, Parents Name, Academic Qualifications, Upload scanned documents and pay the application fee in online mode only.
Candidates who successfully fill the application form will be issued the admit card in online mode. The admit card of RRB NTPC 2020-21 is the important document that needs to be carried to the exam centre on the day of the exam. The admit card will have important details like candidate name, roll number, exam centre details, venue and address and the reporting time along with the exam day guidelines mentioned on it.
RRB NTPC 2020 Exam Centres
The RRB NTPC exam will be conducted on the exam centres as mentioned in the information brochure. While filling the application form candidates will have to choose the exam centre of their preference. The exact address of the exam centre will be mentioned in the admit card of candidates while the city intimation will be given to candidates 4-5 days before the commencement of the exam.
The RRB NTPC exam will be conducted in stages - CBT 1, CBT 2, Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test and Document Verification/Medical Examination. The CBT 1 will be common for all the posts, while the CBT 2 will common for level 2 posts like Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice, Station Master. The Typing Test will be for candidates applying for clerk and typist posts while the CBAT will be Traffic Assistant and Station Master.
The CBT 1 will consist of questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness and the questions and total marks will be 100 while the time duration will be 90 minutes. There will be a negative marking of 1/3rd marks per question.
The CBT 2 will also have the sections from CBT 1 but the questions and marks will be 120 and the time duration will be 90 minutes. There will also be a negative marking of 1/3rd per question.
As per the exam pattern, the CBAT will consist of battery tests and candidates will have to score 42 marks in each battery test to qualify the exam. The CBAT will have questions in English and Hindi.
The Typing Test, on the other hand, is reserved for candidates applying for Clerk and Typist posts. Candidates 8 times the number of vacancies will be called to appear for Typist Test. Candidates will have to type 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute Hindi to qualify the test.
The syllabus of RRB NTPC contains the sections, topics and sub-topics on which the question paper will be based on. Candidates planning to appear for the exam must go through the complete exam pattern as well as the syllabus to prepare well for the exam.
As per the syllabus of RRB NTPC, the topics to be fall under Mathematics are - Number System, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportions, Percentage, Mensuration, Time and Work etc,
In General Intelligence and Reasoning the topics are - Analogies, Coding and Decoding, Completion of Number and Alphabetical Series, Mathematical Operations, Similarities and Differences, Relationships, Analytical Reasoning, Syllogism etc.
While in General Awareness the topics on which the question papers will be based are current events, games and sports, art and culture of India, History of Indian, Freedom struggle etc.
In CBT 2, the topics will be of a bit advanced level as compared to the CBT 1. But the sections and topics will remain the same.
While preparing for the RRB NTPC exam, aspirants must first go through the detailed exam pattern and syllabus. They must compile previous year question papers of RRB NTPC at least 10 years and solve them. hi sir.I applied for rrb ntpc 2019.In notification it was mentioned that obc certificate must not be older than one year at time of DV.if i get obc certificate beyond the crucial date,Is this certificate valid at the time of document verification??
Suppose that the document verification is scheduled on May 29, 2020 then your category submit must have been issued i between May 29, 2019- May 29, 2020.If it is issued earlier than May 29, 2019 then your category certificate will not be valid for the document verification hence your candidature may get cancelled.

NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET), is the national level entrance exam conducted every year by one of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for taking admissions on merit basis to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme.
This exam works across the NITs located in Agartala, Allahabad, Kurukshetra, Calicut, Raipur, Warangal, Surathkal, Durgapur, Trichy, Jamshedpur, Bhopal and Kurukshetra.
The application form of NIMCET 2020 will be released soon through which the candidates can fill the form and appear in the entrance exam.
