RRB Kolkata Group D Result 2020 – RRB declares the RRB Kolkata Group D 2020 result in online mode, PDF format. The result of RRB Kolkata Group D 2020 will be declared on the regional website. The CBT is the first stage in the exam of RRB Group D. The CBT consists of 100 questions and the questions are based on General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning and Mathematics. Candidates who qualify in the CBT round as per the RRB Kolkata Group D 2020 result will be eligible to appear for the PET. The category-wise qualifying marks of RRB Group D exam is given below.

The result of RRB Kolkata Group D for PET will be declared based on candidates performance during the physical activity. During the PET, candidates will be given a task like running, weight lifting etc. It is mandatory to clear this test, as it is qualifying in nature and carries no marks.
The scorecard of RRB Group D is also released along with the result. Candidates can check their scorecard by entering their login credentials. The scorecard displays roll number, candidates name, Pro-Rrated score, normalised marks, raw marks, post preference, trade and qualifying status. Candidates will be able to download their scorecard for a specific period of time.
As per the exam pattern of RRB Group D, candidates will be given 1 mark for the correct answer while 1/3 mark per question will be deducted as negative answers. There will be 100 questions of 100 marks in the CBT. Candidates total score will be calculated on the basis of correct and incorrect answers.
The pro-rated and raw scores of candidates will be calculated out of 100 marks and the normalisation process will be taken into consideration while declaring the RRB Kolkata Group D 2020 result, as the exam is conducted in multiple shifts and sessions. The marks of candidates are normalised to establish equality among the difficulty level of question paper sets.
After successfully conducting the PET and qualifying it, candidates will be called for document verification based on their performance in CBT. RRB will announce the RRB Group D result 2020 for final allotment after medical examination and DV is done. While making the merit list, RRB will use tie-breaking procedure, as per this procedure if two candidates get the same rank, the candidate who is older in age will get higher preference in the ranking as compared to the younger candidate. Candidates will be appointed into the various Group D posts based on their qualification in the CBT, PET, DV and medical test.
RRB Group D cut off marks is the minimum score that candidates need to score in order to qualify the exam. The cutoff marks are prescribed by RRB on the basis of various factors like difficulty level of exam, number vacancies released and the number of candidates who fill the application form. Candidates must score equal to or more than the prescribed cut off marks to qualify the exam.

See RRB in general have a generalized pattern among all of it examinations. So if you prepare for RPF SI it would be more helpful for you to clear RRB Group D. I would recommend you to target the examination which is a level harder than what you target and believe me this increases the possibility.

RRB/ RRC Group-D 2020 examinations will begin from 15th December 2020.
Nationality
A candidate must be either:
(A) A citizen of India, or
(B) A subject of Nepal, or
(C) A subject of Bhutan, or
(D) Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(E) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age Limit
Candidates should be between 18 to 33 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories
RRB Educational Qualification:
The railway board has set a minimum level of education qualification that a candidate must possess in order to appear for the RRB Group D level 1 examination.

RRB Medical Standards:
Like educational qualification, the railway board has prescribed the RRB Group D medical requisites in the notification. Candidates who are called for DV – document verification have to pass the required medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration.
