Bank of Baroda conducts BOB PO for the recruitment of candidates as Probationary Officers (PO) in various branches of Bank of Baroda across India. Candidates who will qualify BOB PO recruitment 2019, have to undergo a 9-month banking and finance programme in Baroda Manipal School of Banking. After completion of the programme, candidates will be awarded a post-graduate certificate in banking and finance and then they will be appointed as Probationary Officers.

General category candidates must be 20 to 28 years of age.

BOB PO Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Educational Qualification
Candidates appearing for BOB PO 2019 are required to have a bachelors degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks. Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/PwD) need 50% minimum marks for the same. The candidates must hold a degree from a Govt. of India recognized university or institute.
BOB PO Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Nationality/Citizenship
To be eligible to appear for BOB PO 2019, the candidate must be one of the following:
A candidate must be either
a citizen of India or
a subject of Nepal or
a subject of Bhutan or
a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection, the offer of appointment may be given only after the Government of India has issued the necessary eligibility certificate to him/her.
