RRB Kolkata Group D Cut off 2018 – Railway Recruitment Board, Kolkata has released the cut off of RRB Group D for CBT. RRB Kolkata Group D cut off for Computer Based Test (CBT) has been released on March 4, along with the result announcement. Three separate cut off lists are published by the examination authority – community-wise, Ex-Serviceman and PwD. Candidates securing equal to or more than RRB Kolkata Group D cut off as per their category and trade have been selected for the next round of recruitment exam which is Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
On the basis of RRB Kolkata Group D cut off, candidates three times the number of vacancies have been selected for the next stage. This means that 7103 candidates have been shortlisted for 2367 vacancies in the region. The qualifying marks of RRB Group D 2018 have been mentioned in the notification which is 40% for general category and 30% each for OBC, SC and ST. The CBT of RRB Group D was conducted from September 17 to December 17, 2018. RRB Group D exam is conducted for recruitment to various posts in Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix.

The cut off of RRB Kolkata Group D for CBT is calculated out of 100. The examination authority follows the normalisation policy to calculate the cut off marks of CBT since the exam is conducted in multiple sessions and shifts. The normalisation of marks is done to adjust the difficulty level of question papers. RRB Group D cut off has been announced after normalisation of marks.

The cut off of PET is decided by the examination authority on the basis of CBT. PET is qualifying in nature and it is necessary for candidates to pass the exam.
What is Document Verification & Medical Fitness Test?
Candidates will be called for document verification based on their performance in CBT provided they qualify the PET. Candidates qualifying the document verification will have to appear for medical fitness test. Those candidates found to be medically fit by the board will be recommended for appointment.

NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET), is the national level entrance exam conducted every year by one of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for taking admissions on merit basis to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme.
This exam works across the NITs located in Agartala, Allahabad, Kurukshetra, Calicut, Raipur, Warangal, Surathkal, Durgapur, Trichy, Jamshedpur, Bhopal and Kurukshetra.
