IBPS PO 2023 Exam Pattern

IBPS PO eligibility criteria for PWD category - According to the government of india norms, people with benchmark disability are eligible for reservation under section -34 of "The Rights of person with disabilities act ,2016" and the categories of disabilities eligible for reservation as per the act are mentioned below-

1.Deaf and hard of hearing.

2.Blindness and low vision.

3.Mental illness, autism, specific learning disability, intellectual disability and locomotor disability which includes palsy ,dwarfism, muscular dystrophy and acid attack victims.

4.People having benchmark disabilities will be assigned with the reserved vacancies as per the "Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016".

The age of candidates wishing to appear in SBI/IBPS PO should be between 21 to 30 years as of April 1, 2022. For example, for SBI/IBPS PO, the official advertisement said that candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2000 and not earlier than 02.04.1991. However, there is also a provision for age relaxation for certain categories of aspirants which are as follows-

  • SC/ST- 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)- 3 years
  • PWD (SC/ ST)- 15 years
  • PWD (OBC)- 13 years
  • PWD (Gen/ EWS)- 10 years
  • Ex-servicemen- 5 years
  • Candidates who are domiciled in Kashmir division of the state of J&K between 1 January 1980 and 31 December 1989- 5 years

If you belong to the UR/General category, then you're not eligible for SBI/IBPS PO 2023 exam.
