The candidates willing to make a career in the field of insurance and are eligible as per the criteria specified can fill the application in the online mode. How to apply for GIC Assistant Manager?
Students must first check the eligibility if satisfied they have to apply online. It involves first registration using a valid e-mail ID and mobile no. which would be further used, then filling in all the personal details, uploading scanned photograph and signature, the last step is making payment. Candidate must also print the e-receipt for the fee and a copy of filled in application form and keep it safe for future use.

The GIC Assistant Manager Exam will be conducted in just 2 stages - Online exam and Interview. There is negative marking of 0.25 (1/4) marks for every wrong answer. The 2 stages that one need to qualify are explained in detail below:

Stage 2: Group Discussion/Interview
The shortlisted candidates are called for Group Discussion and Interview on the basis of overall marks scored in Part A + Part B + Part C of written examination out of total 150 marks. The candidate must score 60% marks individually in all stages to qualify for the post.

Candidates can download the admit card online by entering their roll number or registration number. It will mention the details regarding the exam centre, timing and session along with one's personal details. There will be separate admit card for both the stages. A candidate must carry a valid photo- ID proof and other documents if mentioned along with the admit card to the exam hall.
GIC Assistant manager Result is expected to be released within two months of the conduction of the exam. Post the result candidates are called for GD and Interview. After which a final list of selected candidates is published for training and posting. Initially, the probation period is of one year depending upon the performance it might be extended.

The role of an assistant manager in GIC is supporting day-to-day operations within a specific department, handling tasks like client servicing, policy administration, claims processing, etc.
• Age Limit: The candidate must be 21 Years to 30 Years as on 01.04.2020 i.e. candidates must have been born between 02.04.1990 and 01.04.1999 (both dates inclusive)
• Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they must produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 01.07.2020. Candidates with Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate must ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.08.2020. Candidates with Chartered Accountant certification may also apply.
SBI PO Selection Procedure: Important Points
The candidates should keep in mind the following points related to the SBI PO selection process:
• Biometric Verification: To ensure an error-free and secure selection procedure for SBI PO 2020, the bank may digitally capture the thumb impression of the candidate. This is done to verify the genuineness of the candidates. Any inconsistency in the biometric verification will lead to rejection of the candidature and punitive legal actions. Candidates are thus advised not to apply any kind of external matter like ink, mehandi, chemical etc. on their hands.
• Number of Attempts: The maximum number of chances are fixed for each category. Candidates who have used up all the chances are not eligible to apply. Appearing in Preliminary Exam is not counted as an attempt but appearing in Mains Exam is counted.
