UTET Cut off 2018 – The cut off of UTET 2018 is expected to be released anytime soon. UTET cut off is the minimum qualifying marks which the test takers must secure to be considered for the eligibility certificate for teachers from Class I to VIII. Candidates securing marks equal to or more than the cutoff of UTET 2018 would be considered qualified in the examination. There are two types of UTET cut offs – the minimum qualifying marks and the category-wise and paper-wise cut off marks. Candidates have to secure both UTET cut off 2018 (qualifying) and the paper and category-wise cut off.
After qualifying the exam, the shortlisted candidates will be eligible for obtaining the eligibility certificate valid for 7 years. This means that candidates can apply for the post of teachers from class I to V and from class VI to VIII at the schools in Uttarakhand for 7 years from the date of the issuance of the certificate.

After the declaration of UTET result 2018, the qualified candidates will be given a certificate cum mark sheet. To be considered qualified in the exam, General category candidates must secure at least 60%, SC/ST must obtain minimum 40% and candidates belonging to OBC/PwD/dependents of freedom fighters/ex-servicemen categories should have scored 50% aggregate marks in UTET 2018.
