Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2026 - Notification (Out), Application , Syllabus, Dates

The UTET application form 2026 was released on July 14, 2026, on the official website. All eligible candidates can fill out the UTET application form 2026 online until August 3, 2026. While filling the UTET application form, candidates must pay the total amount of the application fees, or else the authorities will not accept it. Candidates were able to make corrections in the application form from August 8 to 11, 2026.

UTET paper – I will be conducted for those candidates who want to teach primary classes (I to V). They can go through the UTET exam pattern mentioned below.                                                                                                                       

UTET paper – II will be held for all those candidates who wish to become teachers of the elementary level (class VI to VIII) 

Uttarakhand Board of School Examination releases the UTET admit card 2026 on its official website. Candidates can download the UTET admit card by entering their credentials – OMR Form number in the login window. While going for the exam, candidates must carry one photo identity (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID Card, PAN Card, and Driving License), two coloured passport-size photographs (in case the photo on the application form is not visible), and one blue/black ballpoint pen. Candidates are instructed not to take any electronic device like a calculator or mobile in the exam hall.

The provisional answer key of UTET will be published on the official website for Paper I and II at the first stage. The UTET answer key is released in the form of a PDF. Candidates can challenge the answer key in case of discrepancy by sending/submitting the supporting documents (as proof of the correctness of their claim) to Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE), Nainital via speed post or registered post. The final answer key will be published once the examination authorities have evaluated all the challenged answer keys. The final marking will be done on the basis of the answers that will be published in the final answer key. With the help of the UTET answer key, candidates can check the correct answers to the questions that are asked in the state-level exam. They will also be able to calculate their probable score secured in the UTET exam.

Uttarakhand Board of School Education releases the UTET 2026 result online on the official website. Candidates can also check their UTET 2026 result by using the login credentials. The UTET result includes the candidate’s name, roll number, category, and total marks secured. Also, the authorities will send the scorecard of all the qualifying candidates via post. In order to qualify for the UTET exam, candidates have to score the minimum qualifying marks.

All the appearing candidates for the UTET exam will have to score the minimum cutoff marks in order to qualify for the exam. The cutoff marks of UTET for both papers are decided by the Uttarakhand Board of School Education.
