ESE Notification 2020 - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released ESE 2020 notification on September 25, 2019. Candidates who wish to apply for UPSC ESE can fill the application form from September 25 to October 5, 2019. According to ESE notification 2020, candidates must be 21 to 30 years and must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering to apply for the exam. To fill the application form, candidates have to visit the official website at upsc.gov.in. Candidates can also read the detailed information about eligibility criteria, syllabus exam pattern, how to apply etc in ESE 2020 notification. Candidates will be also provided with the facility to withdraw their application form within the prescribed dates. As per ESE notification 2020, the application form can be withdrawn from October 22 to 28, 2019. The successfully registered candidates will be issued ESE admit card to appear for the exam. Candidate should have a graduation degree in Engineering.
UPSC ESE application form 2020 is available online from September 25, 2019. The last day to apply for UPSC ESE application form 2020 was October 15. The application form is filled in two parts. Part I includes registration and filling up basic details while in part II candidates had to select the mode of payment, pay the requisite fee, upload scanned photograph and signature
The examination authority, UPSC issues the admit card for only those candidates who will successfully fill the application form. The admit card is issued for prelims, mains and interview. To download admit card, candidates will have to enter registration ID/ roll number and date of birth. Candidates must ensure that all the details specified in it are correct. In case of any discrepancy, candidates must get it changed.
As per the exam pattern of UPSC ESE, the exam will be conducted in three stages – prelims, mains and personality test. The prelims exam consists of two paper where paper 1 carries 200 marks while paper 2 has 300 marks. There are two papers for mains exam- paper 1 and 2 as per specific disciplines. Both the paper carry 300 each while the personality test is conducted for 200 marks.
The selection procedure of UPSC ESE includes 3 stages- preliminary exam, mains exam and personality test. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of cut off released by the commission. The final list is prepared for the candidates who qualify the personality test by adding the marks of prelims, mains and personality test. Based on the marks obtained, all India merit list is prepared for the recruitment of various posts.
