Exam Day Guidelines for UPSC ESE 2020

  • Candidates must not carry any electronic gadgets like Mobile Phones, Calculators, IT Gadgets and any other Communication device such as Bluetooth etc. inside the examination hall.

  • Candidates cannot also carry battery‐operated pocket calculators of "non‐programmable” or any mathematical/engineering/drawing Instruments.

  • Answers marked in any ink other than that from a black ballpoint pen will not be considered for evaluation.

  • Entry in the exam hall will be closed 10 minutes prior to the commencement of the exam so candidates must be on time.

  • Candidates who do not have a clear photo on UPSC ESE admit card will have to take two passport size photographs along with a valid photo ID.

  • Candidates who write their roll numbers and/or booklet series code on the OMR sheet incorrectly will be disqualified.

see to opt for upsc ese (engineering services exam ) you need to be passed the btech o relevant course or in final year of studies. from your information it mentions that you will be in third year on 2021, upsc exam is held on january generally. age criteria is different as per category wise. for general age limit is 30, as on 1 january. relaxation is applicable for sc/st or obc/ ex serviceman quota candidates.
