UPSC Civil Services Admit Card 2019 – Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit card of UPSC Civil Services for Mains exam on August 30, 2019 in online mode. Candidates can download UPSC Civil Services admit card 2019 for mains either by using registration number or roll number and date of birth. Candidates who have qualified in the prelims exam are only be able to download UPSC Civil Services admit card 2019. The UPSC admit card carries information such as the name of the candidate, roll number, registration number, date, time, venue of exam and exam day guidelines. In case of discrepancies in the UPSC Civil Services admit card 2019, candidates must contact the Commission and get the issues resolved. On the day of the exam, candidates must carry one photo-identity proof to the exam centre along with the admit card. UPSC releases separate UPSC Civil Services admit card 2019 for each of the three exam stages – Prelims, Mains and Personality Test. UPSC Civil Services 2019 mains exam will be held from September 20 to 29.

What after issuance of UPSC Civil Services Admit Card 2019 for Prelims
After downloading the admit card of UPSC Civil Services for Prelims exam, candidates are able to appear for the exam on the dates prescribed by the Commission in the call letter. After the conduct of the Prelims exam, candidates qualifying the exam stage is issued admit card for the Mains exam. Candidates securing the minimum qualifying marks in UPSC CS Mains will be called for Interview. UPSC will release separate admit card for Interview prior to the conduct of the exam stage.
UPSC Civil Services 2019 - General Instructions
Candidates must report at least half an hour prior to the commencement of the exam.
Candidates reporting for exam 10 minutes after the commencement of the exam will not be allowed to appear for the test.
Candidates must refrain from carrying electronic devices including mobile phone, pager, calculator, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, etc. inside the examination hall.
Candidates appearing for exam centres other than the one mentioned in the admit card will not be considered as eligible and the answer sheet of such candidates will not be considered for evaluation.

Yes ofcourse. The qualification eligibility criteria requirement for ias exam is just that candidate must have completed his/her graduation + minimum age qualification is 21 years of age. So you are eligible to appear for IAS exam once you finish your BA graduation program.

IAS Exam is conducted in 3 successive stages- Prelims, Main and Interview test. The prelims stage is an objective test of 400 marks whereas Main is subjective paper of 1750 marks followed by personality test of 275 marks. IAS Prelims is qualifying in nature while performance in main and interview round determine the merit of successful candidates.

It totally depends upon your interest of subjects that what you want to choose . But if you are just referring to upsc then try to take humanities subjects like bachelors in political science, economics, civics, history, also you can take anthropology . Because these subjects you have to study anyways to qualify upsc so why not to study them as your subjects rest you can take any subjects of your choice .

You need to clear UPSC Civil service examination to become IAS officer. You can start preparation as early as possible . I would recommend you to join in a coaching institute and follow a systematic study plan after your 12 th. Now you can concentrate more in your 12th board exams, focus on the current course, if you score better marks in 12th, then only you will be getting admission in Good colleges and that too under " Merit ".
During your college first year on wards , join nearby institute and prepare well. As upsc is not a cake walk, you need to put your heart and soul into the preparation.
