The RBI Assistant preliminary exam will be conducted to test the candidates on Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability, and English Language. For RBI Assistant Exam, you need to be between 20 to 28 years of age pls should be a graduate in any discipline with 50% marks. For reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD candidates), they just need to pass graduation in any discipline. Knowledge of word processing on PC is required too.
Candidates applying for post in a particular recruiting office should be proficient in the language (to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting office.

Time management: In prelim exam your target is to get more marks in less time as the questions are comparatively easy. If you are good at English you can score more in less time.
Balance speed and acccuracy- Reasoning is a very scoring section in which you get the best balance of speed and accuracy.
Practice for the exam: build on on your basics and fundamentals. Analyse your performance and work on your ‘improvement area’ to score more by taking a lot of mock tests.
