Reserve Bank of India will prescribe the RBI Assistant 2024 syllabus in the official notification. Candidates planning to appear in the RBI Assistant 2024 exam must go through the detailed syllabus to know about the topics, and subjects on which the question paper will be based. The RBI Assistant 2024 syllabus will be detailed for both stages of RBI Assistant. The questions from Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Ability, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge will be asked. Along with the RBI Assistant syllabus 2024, it is also advised to refer to the RBI Assistant exam pattern to know various sections, stages, the total number of questions, marking schemes, time duration etc.
Sections such as the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning are common in the preliminary and mains stage while in the mains stage there are 2 extra sections - Computer Knowledge and General Awareness.
As per the RBI Assistant 2024 syllabus, both the stages - Preliminary and Mains will be conducted in online mode.
The questions in the RBI Assistant exam 2024 will be in objective type in nature.
There is a negative marking in the exam.
A total of 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer attempted by the candidate.
No marks will be deducted by the exam conducting authority for the questions which are not attempted by the candidate.

RBI Assistant 2024 Syllabus Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
Candidates who are shortlisted in the mains exam will have to undergo the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The RBI Assistant LPT will be conducted in the Official / Local Language of the State concerned as mentioned in the following table. Those candidate’s who don't qualify in this stage will be disqualified in the RBI Assistant exam.
