RBI Assistant Syllabus 2024 - Highlights

  • Sections such as the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning are common in the preliminary and mains stage while in the mains stage there are 2 extra sections - Computer Knowledge and General Awareness.

  • As per the RBI Assistant 2024 syllabus, both the stages - Preliminary and Mains will be conducted in online mode.

  • The questions in the RBI Assistant exam 2024 will be in objective type in nature.

  • There is a negative marking in the exam.

  • A total of 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer attempted by the candidate.

Candidates who are shortlisted in the mains exam will have to undergo the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). To be eligible for RBI Assistant the candidate must be of 20 years to 28 years age, not less than 20 years and not more than 28 years, however some gae relaxations are given to reserved categories:

For SC/ST- 5 years age relaxation

For OBC- 3 years age relaxation

For PWD- 10 years age relaxation

For candidate domiciled in the state of Jammu and Kashmir between 1st January, 1980 to 31st December, 1989- 5 years age relaxation
