In order to qualify to be placed in the IBPS RRB vacancies under officer I, II and III, candidates have to clear a Prelims and Mains examination and then ace the personal interview to be shortlisted.

The Prelims span over 45 minutes for 80 questions while the mains consists of 200 questions which are to be completed in 2 hours. The candidates must secure 40% marks in the interview in order to get selected under IBPS RRB.

A relaxation of 5% is allotted in the interview round for reserved categories. The final list of candidates is prepared by considering the mains and interview marks in the ratio 80:20.
