The AFCAT 2025 application form will be released 1 - 2 months before the conduction of the exam. The AFCAT application form will be released by IAF. It is mandatory for candidates to meet the AFCAT eligibility criteria 2025 before applying for the exam. They need to meet the AFCAT eligibility at each stage of the exam. The candidature will be cancelled if the AFCAT 2025 eligibility criteria are not met.
AFCAT Eligibility conditions -
Nationality - The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Age - The AFCAT age limit for flying branch candidates is 20 - 24 years. Candidates who choose Ground duty need to be between 20 - 26 years.
Educational Qualification -
For Flying Branch - Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and must have a Graduation with minimum three years degree in any discipline from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
For Ground Duty - Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four years degree.
Candidates will be able to check the AFCAT exam pattern 2025 in the official notification. The AFCAT 2025 exam pattern includes reporting time for candidates, date and time of the AFCAT exam, subjects and duration, marking scheme and many more. Candidates are required to reach the AFCAT exam centre at least 2 hours before the exam time. For every wrong answer, candidates will lose 1 mark.

The AFCAT AFSB exam pattern consists of 2 stages. Candidates need to clear both stages to clear the exam. Candidates are also required to be physically fit before they appear for the AFSB interview process. Candidates will also be informed of the document to be carried to the AFSB interview 2025.

Candidates who appear for the AFSB interview will also be going through certain stages. The AFSB interview consists of 2 stages.
Stage 1 - Officer Intelligence Rating Test along with Picture Perception and Discussion Test.
Stage 2 - Psychological test, the Group Tests and Interview.
Some of the effective tips which will help candidates clear the AFCAT exam are -
Understand the AFCAT exam pattern and syllabus.
Focus on every subject and be strong with the foundation.
Read newspapers, and magazines for general awareness. Practice regularly for numerical ability, Improve English by reading and writing regularly.
Have combined studies if possible to improve one's knowledge.

IAF does not release the AFCAT question paper after the exam is over. However, candidates will be able to download the AFCAT 2025 question paper from several websites of coaching institutes. Candidates can use the AFCAT question papers to practice for future examinations.
Candidates who successfully submit the application form will be issued the AFCAT admit card 2025. At times, IAF also announces the AFCAT 2025 admit card date in the official notification. The AFCAT admit card will also be sent to the candidate’s registered email address. If a candidate faces any issue in receiving the admit card, they may contact the AFCAT quarry cell immediately. Candidates can download their AFCAT admit card 2025 using their username and password. The AFCAT admit card will be issued 2 weeks before the exam date.

During the one year of training, the flight cadets will be receiving a fixed stipend of Rs 56,100. Once the training is complete, the AFCAT salary ranges from Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500 depending on the defence matrix. In addition to the AFCAT 2025 salary, many allowances are offered to candidates based on the nature of duty and place of posting. An insurance of 1 crore is also applicable.

Yes, you are eligible to sit for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) and Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) exams provided you meet certain criteria. Candidates between 19 to 25 years of age are eligible to apply for CDS recruitment 2024. Before filling up the application form, aspirants must check UPSC CDS eligibility criteria carefully. CDS exam 2024 for both sessions will be conducted on April 21, 2024 and September 1, 2024.
