Indian Air Force (IAF) conducts the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) exam every year. The AFCAT exam is the national level examination. The exam authority conducts the AFCAT exam twice a year. Around 1.5 to 2 lakhs candidates appear for the AFCAT exam each session. Out of this nearly 200 men and 140 women are selected by the IAF. About 350 to 450 AFCAT vacancies are announced separately for each session of the AFCAT exam.

IAF announces the AFCAT 2024 result in online mode. Candidates will be able to check the result at candidates login at afcat.cdac.in. Those who qualify in the first stage will be eligible to appear in the next stage. The steps to check the AFCAT result status are as follows.
Open the AFCAT official website - afcat.cdac.in.
Click the AFCAT candidate’s login section
Enter the login credentials such as email ID and Password and Captcha
Click the AFCAT merit list
AFCAT result and the scorecard will appear on the window.
Aspirants can check the AFCAT expected cut off here. With the help of AFCAT cut off, candidates can predict their score to qualify the AFCAT exam.

To get qualified in the AFCAT exam candidates have to appear for three stages. According to the notification, the three stages of AFCAT selection criteria are

AFSB Interview/Personality Test
Medical Test
Candidates who qualify in the AFCAT exam will be paid the AFCAT salary. The salary is paid under the 7th pay commission. As per the 7th pay commission, the AFCAT salary range is from Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500. Initially candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 56,100 per month for a training period of one year.
IAF announces the AFCAT result in online mode only.
Nearly 200 men and 140 women are selected by the IAF.
Candidates will be able to check the AFCAT result at afcat.cdac.in.
The AFCAT result is announced 30 to 45 days after the conclusion of examination.

The AFCAT eligibility criteria state that candidates must be between the ages of 20 and 24 and that graduation is the required educational background for this exam.

Yes, you are eligible to sit for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) and Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) exams provided you meet certain criteria. For CDS, you need a degree from a recognized university for Indian Military Academy (IMA) and Officers' Training Academy (OTA), and for the Air Force Academy (AFA), you need a degree with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level or a Bachelor of Engineering. The age limits for CDS are 19–24 years for IMA and INA, 19–24 years for AFA, and 19–25 years for OTA. For AFCAT, you need a graduation degree with at least 60% marks and Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level for the Flying Branch, or a B.E./B.Tech degree for Ground Duty (Technical), and a three-year graduation degree with 60% marks for Ground Duty (Non-Technical).
The age limits for AFCAT are 20–24 years for the Flying Branch and 20–26 years for Ground Duty. Since you are pursuing a B.P.Ed and have completed 10+2 with science, you meet the basic educational qualifications, provided you also meet the age and other specific criteria.

Candidates between 19 to 25 years of age are eligible to apply for CDS recruitment 2024. Before filling up the application form, aspirants must check UPSC CDS eligibility criteria carefully. CDS exam 2024 for both sessions will be conducted on April 21, 2024 and September 1, 2024.
From now you will get 4-5 attempts of both so don't worry about attempt.give your best in preparation only .
