Hi,
If you have passed your graduation in commerce, you can easily clear ias exam. Firstly, yiu need to choose an optional. If you want to take any subject from commerce background then well and good. But if you want to take any subject from humanity background then you can also do it.
First, thing you need to do it is check the syllabus for upsc from their official website. Then start reading from ncert books and after that start reading the standard books prescribed for each subjects. These books are needed to be studied after basic knowledge.

Hii,

The Basic eligibility Criteria to write UPSC exam is one must hold a Bachelor's Degree. As you are in Intermediate, after that it is better to pursue a 3 year degree rather than 4 year Btech.Because you will have more time to prepare for Civils. If you are serious about the UPSC exam,Make a habit of Reading Newspaper. One must be strong in Current Affairs, polity governance, general science, life science, history and culture to crack UPSE exam.

l am in 12th .i want to know every small small details about ias post .means about its enterview.coure and all please .and does it need more than 90 percent in 12th

Rehan Alam Student Expert 19th Nov, 2019

Dear Aspirant,

The Indian Administrative Service (IAS) is the All India administrative civil service. IAS officers hold key and strategic positions in the Union Government, States governments and public-sector undertakings.Like in various countries (for example UK) following a Parliamentary system, IAS as the permanent bureaucracy in India forms an inseparable part of the executive branch of the Government of India, thus providing continuity and neutrality to the administration.

Along with the Indian Police Service and Indian Forest Service, the IAS is one of the three All India Services — its cadre can be employed by both the Union Government and the individual States.

Upon confirming to service after probation as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, an IAS officer is given administrative command of entire district administration in the district as District collector after four years of service. On attaining the upper levels of Super Time Scale to Apex Scale, they can go on to head whole departments and subsequently entire Ministries of Governments of India and its states.

And you are not required to score 90% in your 12th to get appear for IAS.

Hope this helps. Thank you.
