The UP PCS J 2024 cut-off is the minimum percentage required for a candidate to score in the preliminary exams to be eligible to write the main exam. The UP PCS J cut-off for 2024 is 40%. The cut-off for candidates in the SC/ST categories is 35%. Only Candidates who score higher than the UP PCS J 2024 Preliminary exam cut-off percentage will be placed in the selected list and will be permitted to take the Mains exam.

Hope you are doing well!! There are total of four attempts for a candidate between the age of 21 - 30 years for UP PCS J examination. For SC/ST candidates there is no limited attempts they can appear for it as many times as they want till the age of 35 years.
