Candidates who want to apply for the exam must first go through the TNPSC Group 4 Eligibility criteria 2025 as it might lead to disqualification at any point during the selection process. The TNPSC Group 4 application process will be done completely online. Firstly, the candidates will have to register themselves on the One Time Registration platform, tnpsc.gov.in. They can then proceed to fill the TNPSC Group 4 application form 2025.
After the last day of the TNPSC Group 4 2025 application form submission, candidates will have a 3 day correction window during which they will be able to edit their application details.

Part A - Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test (Optional for Non-Tamil Natives)

General Science: This includes topics like the nature of the universe, measurement of physical quantities, basic scientific laws, applications of mechanics, electricity, magnetism, light, sound, heat, and nuclear physics in daily life. It also covers elements, compounds, acids, bases, salts, and basic concepts of life science like classification, evolution, genetics, physiology, nutrition, health, hygiene, and human diseases. Environmental science is another important area.
History and Indian Polity: This section covers Indian history, including the Indus Valley Civilization, Ancient, Medieval, Modern Indian history, and the Indian Constitution.
Indian Geography: This includes topics like the location of India, physical features, rivers, mountains, climate, and natural resources of India.
Economics and Social Justice: This covers basic economic concepts, poverty alleviation schemes, social welfare programs, and reservation policies.
Current Affairs: This section tests your knowledge of recent national and international events.
Part B - Aptitude and Mental Ability Test
Simplification: Numerical calculations, BODMAS rule (order of operations).
Percentage: Finding percentages, calculating increases/decreases.
Ratio and Proportion: Understanding ratios, direct and indirect proportion.
Averages: Calculating different types of averages.
Interest: Simple and compound interest calculations.
Area and Volume: Calculating areas and volumes of basic shapes.
Time and Work: Problems related to speed, distance, and time.
Logical Reasoning: Identifying patterns, drawing inferences, making logical deductions.
Number Series: Identifying the pattern in a sequence of numbers.

The TNPSC Group 4 Exam pattern 2025 consists of 2 stages. The first stage is the written exam. Selected candidates will further be called for the document verification process and counselling. The written exam will be in offline mode only where the candidates need to fill the OMR sheets. The duration of the exam is 3 hours for a total of 300 marks.
The paper is divided into 3 sections according to the TNPSC Group 4 Exam pattern which are, Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test (Optional), General Studies (SSLC Standard), and Aptitude & Mental Ability Test (SSLC Standard). Each question in the written exam carries 1.5 marks and there is no negative marking.

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission ( tnpsc ) is exam conducted by Tamilnadu government for admitting people in various governemnt posts.
the minimum age to appear for TNPSC is 18 years while the maximum age is 30 years.
since you are born on 9th of march 2005 , you are below the age of 18 right now and hence ineligible to appear for the exam .
