    SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2026

    Not all candidates are eligible to appear for the SSC CGL 2026 exam, as the commission has specified certain minimum eligibility criteria regarding educational qualifications, age limit, and nationality. According to the notification, the SSC CGL 2026 eligibility criteria are as follows.

    18 to 30 Years

    Nationality

    An aspirant must be a Citizen of India, Nepal, or Bhutan

    Educational Qualifications

    • Junior Statistical Officer(JSO): Bachelor’s Degree with at least 60% in Class 12 Mathematics or a degree in any discipline with statistics as a subject in graduation.

    • Statistical Investigator Grade II: Graduation with Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics as a compulsory subject or a selective subject.

    • Research Assistant (NHRC): Bachelor’s Degree along with a minimum of one year of research experience

    • Other Posts: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute.
