Hello!

Your interest in joining NDA (National Defence Academy) creates enthusiasm. Hindi medium students lack no disadvantage because NDA offers its examinations in both languages apart from English.

NDA Exam Pattern:

The written exam consists of:

1. Mathematics – Available in Hindi & English

2. General Ability Test (GAT) – Available in Hindi & English, except for the English section

After clearing the written examination you must appear at the SSB Services Selection Board Interview where psychological tests and group discussions as well as personal interviews will be administered. The English content of the interview dominates but you have freedom to use Hindi when you feel more comfortable.

How to Prepare as a Hindi Medium Student?

Pay attention to English language basics because they matter most for the interview process.

Students who are Hindi medium learners should adopt NCERT books for their Hindi-language mathematics and general studies.

Using Hindi language will help you solve previous years NDA papers to become familiar with the examination structure.

The majority of NDA training centers offer Hindi-based study materials which students should follow.

No matter what educational medium you learned from your education will not influence your selection process. Your selection depends only on obtaining knowledge while developing confidence and exhibiting personality. Working with dedication alongside your hard efforts will enable you to join the Indian Armed Forces.

The BOSSE Board is recognized by COBSE and NIOS, making it generally valid for education and jobs in India. However, for NDA and SSB, UPSC requires 10+2 from a recognized board. While BOSSE is likely valid, it's best to confirm directly with UPSC or NDA authorities to ensure eligibility.
