The Union Public Service Commission will announce the UPSC Prelims Result 2026 on its official website, upsc.gov.in. According to the previous year's trends, the commission will be declaring the UPSC prelims 2026 result in the 2nd week of June.
The UPSC Prelims is a mandatory screening test for all the candidates who have applied for the exam. Candidates who clear the UPSC CSE Prelims exam 2026 will be eligible to appear for the mains exam. All the candidates must note that no mark sheets will be supplied, and no correspondence will be entertained by the commission.
The commission will be declaring the UPSC Prelims 2026 result soon on the official website. Candidates must note that the UPSC Prelims exam is a screening test, is to decide who gets to take the next stage of the selection process. The marks that are scored in the UPSC prelims 2026 are not the final score.
Only the candidates whose roll numbers appear in the UPSC IAS Prelims 2026 result will be eligible for the mains exam. The number of candidates appearing for the UPSC Mains exam will be only about 12 to 13 times the total number of vacancies.
